  1. Actually most of the stuff was already there and some of it was still working, the guys from the AdA-Mod did a very good job there. Converting them to modern DCSW was a considerable task though, all praise for that go to cdpKobra. I still hope ED will add a properly working hose refueling to DCSW's own KC-135 (and other tankers) soon, because there are some problems with this sort of refueling. Still better than nothing :)
  2. I agree. I enjoy looking at and discussing WIP stuff so much, even if it is just a few pictures or short descriptions of the work you are doing. For me what you posted IS something substantial. So if it doesn't harm your workflow too much, please continue posting! :)
  3. Ah, I see you added quite some depth and details to it. A huge leap in quality. Are you going to add further fuselage details on the model or will those be "baked" into the textures?
  4. Good news about the Force Feedback. Love the Gazelle already but with my G940 it isn't easy at the moment. :)
  5. Never saw a Wolf fire a Milan during my time with the Bundeswehr, but it sure looks cool! I'd love to see a Wolf with MG3 too. I actually fired the MG3 from up there myself, and it is insanely fun. :D EDIT: Oh, and a sling-load cargo Wolf would also rock! :)
  6. Haven't read too much about it, but it sounds like it is faster than my GTX770 so I will probably get one. :D
  7. Thanks for the info, it sure sounds interesting!
  8. Although I have a few doubts that this project is possible I appreciate y'all are trying, and I hope you keep us up to date about your progress. Good luck! :)
  9. I'll ask cdpKobra, who does all the conversion work. But I 'd like to know more about what you have in work! :)
  10. It will be available to the public soon. At the moment it is still in testing to get the most severe bugs out. It is basically an authorized re-release of some of the old AdA-Mod planes.
  11. Works for AI and players. In an AI only flight two fighters can refuel at the same time. The hoses aren't animated though, and the model is a bit older than the normal KC-135. But it just feels better than using the IL-78 or the S-3 for me. :)
  12. Great games. I could only watch the evening sessions, but everyone played really great snooker. Fun to watch! :)
  13. Yeah, actually when you look at the date it entered service (1972 IIRC) its opponent is a F-14, F-16A or Tornado.
  14. Mantis is actually very nice, and easy to setup and use. And yeah, you need that subforum badly.
  15. Yeah, it looks pretty promising already. :)
  16. Last time I checked there was a F-4 Phantom in DCSW. Use Germany or Turkey for example, you can place it then. :)
  17. I voted no, here is why: I would fly it in a Falklands campaign, otherwise I am not interested in the plane. It doesn't fill a unique role otherwise, and I'd like to have the roles filled as a priority (and I admit I just like jets more than props, with very few exceptions, such as a Bronco). So basically what others have said: If there is a complete Falklands scenario, with Harriers, A4s, Mirage5 and so on, then absolutely yes to the Pucará.
  18. I was close a few times, but then I got a touchscreen and used Helios for the CDU.
  19. Thanks for the mini-update, looks nice! :)
  20. +1 to that. I noticed that it gives me a headache during longer flights. :(
  21. I also read the manual in the meantime. (thanks anyway :) ) I just wonder: What is the reason why it isn't implemented?
  22. Same here. I am still really really bad at flying turns, but it is lots of fun and even hovering works.... well... halfway nice now. :)
