  1. I'm still suffering massive performance loss under 900ft. It seems to be alleviated by reducing forest details to the minimum setting, though.
  2. I'll add a track if it happens again but I haven't seen it reported as yet. I was on a dedicated server with myself and one other player who was designating targets for me in an Apache. I was using the loft delivery mode, and through the first pass Jester gave constant speed call outs, not even a second between each line. It reminded me of some of the AAR Jester callout issues. The first delivery was fine aside from that, but after the second delivery, my frame rate rapidly declined to zero. No crash, but frames measured in minutes rather than seconds.
  3. I suspect that Moza's engineers very well understand the way in which the AB9 is intended to be used, but their marketing department have no idea and therefore cannot support those who are reviewing early samples. That's just my impression though.
  4. Loft is an excellent delivery method for targets designated by a JTAC. Pick an IP, put the requisite data into the calculator and tell Jester. Then at the IP, hold the pickle and follow the flight director and aim for 4G at the pull up when prompted.
  5. I've experienced this tonight too. Sound persists after depowering RWR and after engine shutdown. It seemed fairly repeatable, I'll try and get a trackfile to share in the next few days.
  6. New update is absolutely beautiful but this is still an issue for me. I can mitigate it by reducing forest details to the very lowest setting (0.1), but anything above that and the drastic frame reduction becomes evident again.
  7. Not stupid, just human. Yeah, it's MDF. Not even really a gasket, just a flat piece of poor quality garbage with holes for the bolts. When I decide to set up a second transducer, I'll just make it wider and have one against each of my kidneys. With plastic, I'd say it would certainly be worth the experiment to do something similar to what I've done. It's pretty low effort and could have a great result. But the most important thing I've found so far is to have a decent power supply.
  8. It's not pretty. I cut a piece of 12mm MDF and sandwiched it between the chair and the transducer. I bolted the entire assembly to the chair, which meant making a few holes.
  9. I'm very happy with my DIY setup. A single BST-2 mounted to my office chair, with a Nobsound 100w mini amp powered by an old laptop PSU and connected to the PC via USB. I use Simshaker Sound Module with the Simshaker for Aviators addon to run it all. It was a fraction of the price of a Buttkicker, and I've got a spare channel to add another bass shaker if I were to be so inclined. Probably the best hardware mod I've done in terms of immersion, better IME than a VR headset.
  10. Can't be right. 52mm must be a typo.
  11. I'd be genuinely shocked if this is "correct as-is" based on eyewitness accounts. There's something not quite right.
  12. Image on the box looks very much like a Winwing stick, although that youtube clip shows him plugging a TM stick into the base. There's also this: I can't help but wonder whether Moza and Winwing might be collaborating on this?
  13. Wow. Those two assets are going to make a huge impact on DCS!
  14. Perfectly valid point of view, that does happen from time to time. I personally tend to restore the backed up file and if unexpected behavior is observed, I delete the edited lua and repair, and then edit the fresh input lua. But Quaggles' tool is certainly a great option. Different strokes, I guess.
  15. DCS also seems to back up my modified inputs, so after an update I just go to my main DCS folder and drag the backed up folders back into the main directory. It's relatively painless.
  16. Bumping this because I'm still seeing this behavior.
  17. Here's a recent example: One of the solutions that some have resorted to are to add weight via scripting in the mission editor. I haven't tested this myself yet, it's on my list of things to experiment with.
  18. It isn't quite as bad as the MiG-15 but it can certainly behave rather UFO-like. It's pretty well documented elsewhere, I'd rather not derail the thread. A -21F would certainly be a welcome addition in my book.
  19. With MP, I'd seriously consider bumping the RAM up to 64GB. It's not directly comparable, but for my DDR4 system it made a noticeable difference in performance for me on the servers I play on. Otherwise it looks like a pretty respectable build.
  20. Did this get resolved in the last patch or is it still an issue?
  21. Having a reasonable AI Fishbed will be a game changer for me. Thanks for making such an awesome mod!
  22. He's fine for me. Maybe just check that the command in the VA profile matches the binds in DCS. Other than that, if everything else works normally I'm not sure what the issue is.
  23. @lesthegrngo You will want to look at this thread. Simshaker Sound Module combined with Simshaker for Aviators should give you what you are looking for.
