  1. You can zoom in/out, with RCtrl + KP "/" and KP "*" It really needs to be able to use the mouse scroll to zoom in, but I have not figured out how to do that. Or use the 'zoom' I have set up for A10C
  2. For shot smoke as well. I was driving along at 60kph with barrel at 90 degrees: after each shot, the smoke stuck to the barrel. I was hoping that shooting sideways would lessen the smoke visual impairment. Nope. :huh: :)
  3. I extracted both files, and neither gave a tracer affect. I extracted first one, the the other to the ...world/shapes/ folder. No tracer affect for me. NM: copied and pasted the file and it worked. Tracer is intermittent, but it's there.
  4. Are vehicles running out of gas?! Did not know that was possible.

  6. Mine looks the same way, but mouse is still usable in-game. Is yours not working at all?
  7. Related: I had to use IE instead of Chrome to purchase. I just got stuck on select payment page with Chrome. Used IE and it worked fine.
  8. Go into steam library, click on DCS A10C, then click 'cd key' in right-side menu.
  9. Been sticking with 1111 for A10C but have recently installed world/ca. I've noticed a drastic change in the behavior of the -97. In A10C 1111, the chutes would drop to maybe 200 feet, shoot back to about 300 feet, then the pucks would start exploding. Now in World 1.2.0, the would drop to about 100 feet, shoot up to 180 or so, then start exploding. Was this change intentional or is there a setting I'm missing in the newer version?
  10. Look for a vehicle surrounded by enemy? Should just take a moment. Might want to learn what each icon represents, as well.
  11. with the addition of CA, I'll admit to actually logging on to MP now. I can be my OWN JTAC :)
  12. hehe...Was driving a T80 as fast as I could go, turned turret backwards and it ACCELERATED. Guess that big nose up front was slowing it down.
  13. CA is not for sale, at the moment. You can only PRE-ORDER at this time. It is, in fact, an open-beta. Everyone playing now it PLAY TESTING, helping (hopefully) ED work through all the little issues, see what works and what doesn't. And as someone else posted, I've spend a lot of time these last 2 days playing it. Lot's of fun.
  14. Sadly, was just having a grand time but then the server got locked. Killed 4 T-80s with AP rounds then the server got locked.
  15. Just be careful not to cruise into a killing zone. It's a scramble to hit 'c', then 'z' then 'w' to get back over a hill in time to avoid the meat grinder.
  16. Ok, that's weird. I tried several but none had the option for ground vehicles. Which server was it?

  18. .Ok, I know JTAC can lase targets and pop smoke markers, but is there a way for the JTAC to target an enemy vehicla and pass along the MGRS numbers to human pilot? Or is it just mark and lase? I've played around a bit but didn't see any indication of target coordinates.
  19. Many people haven't. I've only done so once or twice. Just tried today, but unfortunately, can't find a CA enabled server. Looking to see if I can take down a human pilot with a SAM :)
  20. Any CA enabled maps on any servers, yet? I tried connecting to several open mp servers, but none appeared to be enabled for CA.
  21. Is there a way to adjust NVG gain when in vehicles? I tried using same commands from A10C but there was no change. At times, the view was very overblown and difficult to see targets. Would also like to adjust 'hud' intensity as well.
  22. My initial impression was Holy Hell I'm getting my ass handed to me by these AI tanks. Trees are pretty but of absolutely no consequence to enemy AI. I was trying to move a group of tanks forward and lost every one of them. I ended mission, watched replay, and found that a lone tank on a hill was blasting them with ATGMs. I went back into mission and tried using an Abrahms against him but lost that one, too. Then found that a Bradley with TOW was fairly affective. Took out three tanks but got too close to last one (he was out of ATGMs) and he got me with AP round.
  23. I've been reading the HOGS novels, and the pilots are always complaining when they have to be above 10Kft. "That's astronaut territory!What I'm talking about!" - Shotgun :-)
  24. The short-list of axes I notice right away. Was wanting to setup my rudder pedals for Left/Right turning of vehicle, with toe brakes as accelerator/brake. NOPE. Hopefully to be added in future. on a side note, amphibious vehicles aren't... :/
  25. (in orbit) < you weren't lying....Astronaut training?! The Hawg should NEVER be that high. But, you should be able to see it ok with TGP in w/h or b/h modes.
