  1. And another one we found while flying online tonight with Update 3: We were not able to load UB-16 or UB-32 when our aircraft´s task was set to CAP in ME. When selecting the single stations (already in the mission) the choice just wasn´t there, when selecting a predefined loadout in the refuel/reload window the rockets just were not loaded, the other weapons in the loadout were ok (incl. bombs). When changing the task to CAS in ME it worked. We were able to load UB-16 or UB-32 before when the task was set to CAP in the mission editor. Thanks, good night, Wolf
  2. Another Bug my friend and me saw, or better heard tonight while flying together: We were flying in formation and as he got closer I suddenly thought we have an old warbird in our formation as the audio sounded like pretty loud propeller-plane sound, just like the Mustang or Dora, maybe a little distorted such. When spacing was increased the sound changed back to jet sound , when nearing it was prop-sound again. Tried this a few times back and forth during that flight, always the same. Maybe it had something to do with his plane being damaged and the nosecone missing, as we were flying in formation before and after with undamaged Migs and didn´t hear it. Oh, and it was like that on both PCs, his and mine. edit: It was with update 3, forgot to mention... Greetings, Wolf
  3. Noticed this too tonight, it´s still there, but only on your own plane, I checked that with my friend. For me my canopy was still there and his in F2-view was gone and vice-versa. My friends Mig in my F2-View:
  4. Hi, I was flying with a buddy tonight and we noticed a little Bug in in cockpit view: When the canopy is opened there is a little polygon floating outside the cockpit to the right side. When the canopy is closed it is gone. My buddy had it too. Greets, Wolf
  5. Yep, will try too when I have the time to fly. What was the default value before this patch ? Just asking as I never "messed" with it and the stutters where introduced with this patch.
  6. Hmm, I have never changed anything in that file before. I have to admit I don´t even know where I can find it, lol
  7. Moin, der Autoupdater schaut nur einmal in 24h oder so nach, geh mal ins Startmenü -> "Eagle Dynamics" -> "DCS World" -> "Aktualisieren DCS World" Gruß, Wolf
  8. After a reboot the "big" micropauses incl. stopping sound are gone, but overall in the Mig (didn´t check anything else so far after rebooting) it´s not as fluid as before. Never measured FPS before or after, but before all was just smooth, now it feels not necessarily like low FPS but like being fluid but with 10 small stutters per second. Hard to describe I hope y´all understand what I mean. Specs are i7-3770 3.4 GHz, 16GB RAM, GTX 660 Ti No unusual hdd activity to be seen. Unfortunately no more time to test tonight.
  9. Hmm, I had no problems before, now with the release update 3 I´m getting weird micro-pauses every few seconds where the movement and the sound stops when flying the Mig. edit: I just checked, I have those micro-pauses in the other modules as well since updating. Weird and not nice. Never seen this before.
  10. Yeah, nice to have all the info on one page, thanks !
  11. The same way I remember it :smartass:
  12. Oops
  13. Nice, thank you ! I found this while surfing around : Some pretty nice shots of radar testing, pipper testing, testing or sighting in the cannon etc... edit: I´m too stupid for embedding a video, so here´s the link : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CsF4WBNXl0s
  14. Thank you !
  15. Hey all, in the checklist we are supposed to press "any Day-Night button" to check the warning lights. Now, I´m a little stupid and have no idea what is meant by "Day-Night button", can you help me out here ? The next question is more a DCS-W one. I tried the first campaign mission and wondered if it is somehow possible to see the course/heading from each waypoint to the next one in the mission planner to write down a rough flightplan (like WP1 -> WP2 270° for 2 minutes @ 800km/h) instead of just guessing and using the position mark on the kneepad for fine-tuning ? Thanks and greetings, Wolf
  16. Sounds great, looking forward to it ! Especially as I started to loose interest in the Sabre a bit due to the lack of missions.
  17. Funny enough no performance problems so far on my, I guess "medium", system : i7-3770 3.4 GHz, 16GB RAM and a GTX 660 Ti Not measured, just "felt", everything is smooth in the two missions (startup and takeoff training) so far.
  18. Ah dang, I got it anyways, couldn´t resist... ;)
  19. I have not ordered the Fishbed so far as my budget isn´t that high and because I have to admit that I don´t care for this bird (or russian ones altogether) very much, although it looks outstanding and I´m sure that the MiG-21Bis will set a new standard for DCS modules and flightsims in general. Nonetheless it´s great that the bird was made because variety to choose from is good and anything that brings new players to the game and funds to the developers is of course very welcome. If the next project is something I "like" I will of course get the MiG at then full price to support the Leatherneck folks ! And I´m sure I will then have good times trying to master it :joystick: , even If I´m not so keen for eastern planes. But hey, I will be there in my Sabre or Huey or Hog as of course all you Mig-Drivers will need someone you can blow out of the sky :D So, I wish all Mig-Pilots great fun with the new toy tomorrow and great success to the Leatherneck Simulations team !
  20. I just tried that, but no luck. :(
  21. Hi shyjonathan1588, I´m running DCS 1.2.10. The mission I got was "Sortie 728". The first try I wasn´t even able to start up the Hog in the hangar. I just tried again, the same mission, and this time it was still bad but I could get the bird up in the air. The flight then was ok, maybe a bit sluggish, but when I arrived on station at WP3 it got very bad again after a minute or two of orbiting, down to 1 fps or even lower. It´s a real pity as your campaign sounds exactly like what I´d love to play. Thanks a lot nonetheless for making it ! With EDGE around the corner maybe it will be better. Greets, Wolf
  22. It sounds absolutely great, but unfortunately when I just tried the first mission it was unplayable with about 1-2 frames per second. PC is a i7-3770 3.4 GHz, 16GB RAM and a GTX 660 Ti.
  23. Thanks for the mission ! I even managed to down two Migs (ok, I used labels...) and get my bird home without a scratch even though I suck badly at A2A-combat. Even more than A2G... ;-)
  24. Great to hear you're back ! And man, you were really pumping out those missions when the huey was new, it was like a new mission every day... I'd be honored to test fly again when I have the time. Just be careful you don't burn yourself out again ! Greets, Wolf
  25. Hi again, only a few hours later I think I can report this problem solved ! I spent the whole day searching the internet for this problem again and this time found several threads where people had a similar problem with this card in other games. I read that many 660 TI cards come from manufacturers slightly overclocked which could lead to such problems. So I downloaded according to a "tutorial" in such a thread a program called nvidia inspector which shows and lets you change all such stuff that is usually too much for me ;-) And yes, my gpu ran at 1006 instead of the 915 mHz that nvidia says, the memory at 3054 instead of 3004 mHz. I lowered both values to what nvidia writes, fired up a mission that always locked everything up half a second after pressing F2 and it worked ! I didn´t fly so far (not much fun with the arm in a cast...) but I could happily pan the external cam around and finally see my huey in the dark ! I hope it stays that way and that by lowering it´s now not too slow. Thanks all for your help ! :joystick::pilotfly:
