  1. OCD or not, they look absolutely superb mate. Well done, I can't wait to see them in your campaign. Cheers! [emoji1634] Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  2. Stunning mate, well done Cheers! [emoji1634] Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  3. ^^^^ exactly. Yeah, the DCS campaign interface and tracking will be cactus. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  4. Generally after prolonged durations. I can start a mission, exit a few minutes in, no problems. I agree with you regarding possibly memory (or even DCS track) related, maybe too many events etc overflow the DCS debriefing list. The only other apps running are trackir and tacview. I have 32Gb RAM and have set a large page file on the DCS SSD. I was able to watch a complete tacview replay after the last mission, at least confirming tacview wasn't hanging, and DCE scripted a new mission showing persistence. However, as far as DCS is concerned, the mission never occurred, as a restart of DCS was required. Many thanks Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  5. Hey Miguel, Many thanks. By disabling frenchpack, do you mean deleting the AI french skins? However, this is happening in Mbot's latest DCE which I believe does not have any French skins etc Cheers! Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  6. That seems right, I just changed the DCS to DCS.OpenBeta/etc/... Make sure the correct case is used as your path, and the correct slashes ie "/" or "" is used in the the .lua. Mbot describes it in green text next to the path. I think my end of mission problem comes after some script runs during the mission. If I start a mission, then after a few minutes escape out, DCS ends properly to the DCS debrief screen. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  7. Doh! I've got it all working, but now I am getting that random DCS black screen freeze when escaping/ending the mission. The screen never goes to the DCS debrief screen, but the DCE debrief and DOS window pops up in the background. I have to CTRL-ALT-DEL, then end DCS with the W10 Task Manager, then restart. Anyone else getting this problem too? It also happens on PB0_CEFs DCE missions. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  8. Regarding the first problem, you need to open the .bat files with a text editor and change the default path to your installation path. Regarding the second problem, I have set the date to after 1994 in the camp_init.lua file, then you will need to run the firstmission.bat file. I haven't had a chance to test this yet. Cheers! 9. Here is screenshot of the .lua file. Cheers!
  10. I believe the actual values to enter are in metres per second. So you will have to do a conversion from desired knots. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  11. Ok, will do when I get home from nightshift. I also opened the firstmission.miz and the ongoingmission.miz in ME and changed the default Stennis speed to 10 knots on all waypoints. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  12. Nvm, I tinkered with the Saved Games path and it now works as intended. Many thanks Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  13. So I managed to solve the "not being able to launch" problem by reducing the carrier speed so the aircraft wasn't being thrown around on the shuttle. However, I am still getting the error when exiting the first mission, with DCS freezing up and not giving the dos pop-up window to proceed. I have edited the missionscripting.lua. and set my Saved Games path in line 7 of camp_init.lua Any ideas? Cheers!
  14. Mbot helped me out with this too. You will need to open the .bat files individually and change the path to your dcs install. Mine is working now. Use notepad++ if you can. Otherwise notepad should be ok Cheers! [emoji1634] Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  15. Hey Mav, It's in the DCE folder you intstalled in mods/tech.... So ...../mods/tech/DCE/Scripts/Mission Scripts Its called CarrierIntoWindScript.lua Cheers! Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  16. Quote: "Also, in order to use the bat files, you have to edit them as well with a text editor first. The bat files need to point to your actual DCS installation directory to use DCS's LUA interpreter. This is not required for regular campaign play, only if you want to use the bat files by hand." Ahh, I didn't do this which is probably why it wasn't working - getting the "device not ready" prompt. I'll try this tonight after work. Many thanks again @MBot Cheers! 17. Hi Mbot, Many thanks for creating these dce campaigns. I started this campaign from scratch and noticed 2 issues. 1- The carrier seems too fast and won't let the tomcat hook up to the shuttle properly (it keeps bumping so won't launch after the sulute - I think related to the deck sliding issue). I have found the carrier into wind script and have reduced Vmax and wind over deck. I just don't have time now to test. 2- When exiting mission, the cmd screen does not show up to skip results etc. Only an error screen. I am running latest openbeta, I have changed the path in campinit.lua, and have edited the missionscripting.lua as per instructions. Also when I try to run the skipmission.bat, a cmd screen shows up saying "device not ready", to that effect. Cheers! [emoji1634] Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  18. At a bit of an educated guess then, I would think the Tomcat radios will not be able to go to those lower frequencies, even if Jester indicates in the affirmative that he has "tuned" the radio. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  19. Hmmm, I'm not sure what's going on then. I'll try to test it tonight. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  20. Maybe try getting Jester to change to AM (or FM if you are on AM). Cheers! Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  21. Hey Reflected, they look brilliant mate. Very authentic looking and a good fit for the time period and theatre. Cheers! [emoji1634] Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  22. Did you try joining as spectator first for a few seconds to allow scripts to initialise, then choose a slot? Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  23. The Cat has been out all night, time to get back to the house lol.... Cheers!
  24. Could it be the pilot died of hypoxia? Cheers! [emoji1634] Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  25. Hey mate, good to hear you sorted it out [emoji106]. I'm happy to be of help. Cheers! [emoji1634] Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
