  1. @Avalanche110 Hey mate, really enjoying this mission and the immersion is great. I have one query - running the with-out mods version on latest open beta - What triggers the commencement of the fight? I start up, fly with the instructor to the rally point, find the adversaries, but nothing happens from then on. We just orbit around each other. If I then shoot one down anyway, it triggers the second half of the fight ok. Cheers! [emoji1634] Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  2. Yes exactly this ^^^^. Keeping as many variables consistent and repeatable in high pressure/threat environments. The trigonometry of those numbers gives a slant range of 2000 yards, so aircraft with ground ranging radars (eg A-4) had slant range scales so the pilot could pickle at 2000 yards, while diving with the above parameters. For non-radar aircraft, the slant range is still 2000 yards. The reticle depression Mils setting could then be adjusted to the ballistics of different ordinances. Cheers! 3. Hey Spike, I'm having as blast playing your campaign, it flows well, is well researched and scripted, and I love Jester's and GasCan's quips (especially about USS Forrestal :megalol:). Well done! I just completed the "Boring CAP" mission, the one with the singleton escort (trying not to spoil), what a cool mission!! I copped an AIM9 in the face which knocked out Jester, electronics, radios, nav, radar and hydraulics, but managed to limp back, land at the alternate, and complete the mission. I have attached a couple of screenshots (I changed the Player livery: Livery by 59th_Jack). Cheers! Scotch
  4. Moonrise Over The Arabian Sea Night departure in Mbot's F-14 Battle Group Delta Dynamic Campaign
  5. Did you re-edit the missionscripting.lua file after the update? I always forget to lol... Cheers! [emoji1634] Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  6. Mbot has substituted in the F-18s to be placeholders for the eventual planned AI A-6 strike aircraft. Cheers! [emoji1634] Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  7. Fantastic news Mbot. Well done! Cheers! [emoji1634] Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  8. You can disable Jester via the wheel selection under crew contract (I think its called). "Set Inactive" or similar. Cheers! [emoji1634] Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  9. The funny thing is, mine was reversed. In Perth, the torrent method would max at about 300kB/sec on NBN fixed wireless. Now I'm getting 5-8 MB/sec, so not sure if my ISP changed anything. Cheers! [emoji1634] Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  10. Hey Miguel, Yes, I can confirm AI strikes working again with cruise missiles hitting their targets, launched from B-52s. I just want to check the FA-18 cruise missile strikes work as well. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  11. Many thanks for the advice guys [emoji106]. It is unnerving knowing there is an active missile out there somewhere without being able to see it, know that it has been defeated, then having the confidence to not turn back into it to kerp the bandit from lobbing another one at you. Cheers! [emoji1634] Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  12. Ok Miguel21 will do, I'll try it later this afternoon. Great work [emoji106] Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  13. Oh damn, I've moved the campaign on so it would have been over-written. I'll try to skip missions to get another escort with JSOW armed strike aircraft. Many thanks. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  14. Hey CEF, just to follow up on this, I just flew an escort mission for FA-18C pinpoint strike on Batumi armed with JSOWs. Again they just flew their assigned route, arrived at the "Attack" waypoint, then turned around to RTB. Granted the weather was poor. Same parameters as above, I did not enter Mission Planner before flying. Cheers! [emoji1634] Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  15. Hey Sydy, I too have had this problem in the past and have noticed a few other members have the same. Try the following: 1. Right-click your DCS shortcut and select "Properties". 2. Select the "Compatibility" Tab. 3. Tick the "Disable full-screen optimisations" box: as shown in the attached picture. Now I'm not saying this is a verified cure or work-around, but I have not had the screen freeze on any missions (I've played about 10 of the TF74 Tomcat on latest OB) lately. It may just be coincidental, and I have not tested on any other campaigns as yet. I hope it helps, Cheers! [emoji1634] Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  16. Thanks CEF, 1. The B-52 target was the SA-2 N2 site. 2. I did not touch Mission Planner at all, just "FLY" straight into the mission. 3. TriggerStart is set to FALSE. Cheers! [emoji1634] Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  17. @PB0_CEF, just testing the new TF74 Tomcat on latest Open Beta, all working well, however, I noticed the B-52 strikes fly their route, but never launch their JSOWs at the "Attack" waypoint. They just turn around and depart. This when doing CAP or Escort missions. Cheers! [emoji1634] Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  18. Beautiful! Well done, I'll download shortly. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  19. @Bungo, that would be awesome mate. I'd love to see our one and only glorious carrier be resurrected, with A-4 operations in RAN livery. Best of luck [emoji106] Cheers! [emoji1634] Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  20. Yes, just tested on one of the A-10C instant action missions. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  21. Hey Folks, I have been trying to practice BFM offline SP with F-14, F-18, F-16 etc, in missions spawning random AI CAP, usually transitioning from BVR to WVR. Although I don't know many tactics, I'm ok using the F-pole manoeuvre to close the range, trying to keep the bandit defensive. However, at some stage the bandit often defeats my missiles, then will get a radar missile shot off at me (I'm aware the AI is an omnipotent UFO lol). As soon as I get the launch warning my initial defensive action is to crank to beam the missile, dive towards the ground to gain speed, get into the thicker air and ground clutter, then chaff regularly. From this point on, I am never able to get back to a neutral or offensive stance, as the bandit just sits above me regularly launching radar missiles, then closes in to a point where I can't turn back into him or gain altitude without getting a heater in the face. So, I was seeking advice on some tactics to use in the above circumstance to help turn the tide as I would like to eventually get into MP or even PvP, and not be a total dope lol.. Thanks in advance... Cheers! [emoji1634] Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  22. Thanks PB0_CEF, that worked for the skins, I had an extra layer of sub-folder in there [emoji106] Yes, I don't have OvGME or JSGME or know how to use them, so I didn't touch those 2 files in the "Indo-Pak War Mod" folder. I installed the campaign manually without those 2 files and it seems to work ok, first mission is generated, when I exit out, the DOS window pops up to ask if I want to keep the results. All working good. Now that I have the skins working, I'll try a full play through of the first mission and report back here. Many thanks for your help [emoji106] Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  23. Hey @PB0_CEF, @Miguel21, I downloaded the Pakistan AF sabre skins into the Saved Games/Liveries/F-86F Sabre folder as recommended, but they do not show up in the first mission. I just get the "default" skin. I checked the file path, and even edited the description.lua to ensure "PAK", is in the countries, then ran firstmission.bat, but still no joy. The only thing I can think off is, I don't use OVEGME or JSGME, so those files in "Indo-Pak War Mod" folder have not copied into the root install. So would the "db-countries.lua" file be significant? This will get reset on every update. Cheers! [emoji1634] Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  24. Hey @Sublimearrepentido, In that directory, you need to make a folder called Mods, then in Mods, make a folder called tech. So your file structure will be: \J\Saved Games\DCS\Mods\tech Firstly extract the DCE file into tech, so your file structure will look like: \J\Saved Games\DCS\Mods\tech\DCE Then extract the camaign into DCE, so your file structure will look like: \J\Saved Games\DCS\Mods\tech\DCE\Missions\Campaign \ "Campaign name" Hope that helps, Cheers! [emoji1634] Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  25. ^^^^ Well said IronMike. Thankyou to all of the testers for helping to improve an already remarkable module. Cheers! [emoji1634] Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
