  1. Many thanks Strut, I'll try again tonight and let you know [emoji106] Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  2. The 4 you uploaded the other day. So the black aces, marksmen, red ace, and can't remember the other one (at work on my phone). I just tried the latest version Black Aces skin only last night, still had the same result as above. Thanks for having a look mate, it could be something simple I've missed on my end. Cheers! Edit: just got on the user files, the 4 skins are 2OCU Marksman, Black Panther, Black Diamond and Red Diamond.
  3. Hey Strut, no worries mate. In my 2 posts above, I've tried a bit of troubleshooting. So I could get the skins to show in the dropdown list, but when I selected one, it did not load in the model viewer (bottom right ME). Just always shows the default livery. The same for the F2 outside view when sitting on the apron. I have installed them in the directory you posted. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  4. Ok, I extracted (7zip) the lowest folder level into the CoreMods, made a quick mission with Aus f-86, so the skin now shows up in the paint scheme list. When I select it, it still just shows the default skin in the model viewer.... I just know it is going to be something simple lol.... Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  5. Hey mrmat01, Hhmmm, I tried them there and they still didn't show up. Did you extract as is or only put the last skin folder into there (ie there is a second folder level) ? I'll try again. Many thanks mate, Cheers Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  6. Hey Strut, I can't get the new skins to show up. Do they go in Saved Games or the CoreMods folders? Cheers mate [emoji106] Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  7. Hey Strut, Brilliant work again mate, great to see historic RAAF aircraft getting some attention and love. I'm looking at getting the Sabre with the bonus points sale to use them up and these skins will be an instant download. Well done [emoji106][emoji482] Cheers! Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  8. I've just started flying the Spitfire too. I think you have to pressurize the tank once you pass a certain altitude. It's the turn switch on the bottom right of the front panel. Hope that helps, Cheers! Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  9. Thanks mate, eagerly awaiting.... Cheers! Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  10. Hey Strut, I just bought the Spit in the summer sale and was going to download your beautiful RAAF skin pack. Your link is not showing any skins on the ED user files. Are they still available? Cheers! Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  11. Check in Windows that you have set your headset as "Default Communication Device". Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  12. Did you try FM or AM? There is a Jester command to toggle between the two. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  13. ^^^^ Likewise..... pleeeaaassse lol. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  14. Wow!!!! Fantastic work guys and gals. You've set a new high standard in sim movie making. A thoroughly enjoyable watch. Well done to all involved. Cheers!!!
  15. I just had a quick look. I think it was a blue "afterburner/exhaust" effect. I didn't think it was a label. I'd say GCI though.
  16. Yes, this is what happens consistently. While the TACAN is initialising (maybe going through a BIT) the morse code will sound with no effect from the volume knob. As soon as the signal locks in and the HSI shows an accurate reading, the volume knob will be respected. I don't think it is a big deal, I view it as a BIT during start-up, turn the volume knob to minimum and continue on. Cheers!
  17. Yes, I noticed this too. It's quite annoying when trying to work with elevations for manual bombing (F-5E). Not sure if it was introduced in a recent update, I'm sure it was never a problem before a few weeks ago. I'm also running on 1080p monitor and set native resolution in DCS with GUI scaled. Cheers!
  18. Well said Ironmike. Cheers!
  19. Is that accurate in the real aircraft though? I thought the flaps were either fully up or fully down via the flap lever (I didn't think it had settings in between). The manoeuvre flaps/slats are controlled by the DLC wheel when landing gear is up. We may have to consult with @Victory205, but I'm happy to be proven wrong.
  20. Hey Folks, I decided to get back into this campaign with the F-5 while the Tomcat issues are getting fixed. Enjoying it immensely. Although, I'm stuggling to succesfully complete a strike mission at Pahute airfield, which could be attributed to tactics and/or timings. With only 4 escorts, about 6 to 8 enemy bandits show up and inundate the F-4s (2 are lost in the first minutes), then take us strikers (heavy with bombs and rockets) down before we get to the target. 1. Should I be trying to flying NOE to be undetected? 2. Are there settings to adjust to make the enemy response more realistic? 3. Is there a setting to assign a bigger escort contingent? Many thanks! Cheers!
  21. No probs mate. As PBO@CEF posted above, try double clicking the .bat file first.
  22. Ok, I tried that before and it didn't seem to work as no DOS window showed up. I'll try it again, but yes, it will be definitely be easier. Many thanks [emoji106]
  23. @PBO_CEF I think @TheSauvaaage is asking how to actually run the .bat files. I only worked this out today myself. This is what I did: 1: Open a CMD line (or Powershell in W10) in the above mentioned directory were the campaign resides. 2: Type firstmission.bat to run the file to change the mission (type ./firstmission.bat if using powershell). 3: Go back into DCS and restart the campaign. Hope this helps, Cheers!
  24. Its a precautionary instruction from ATC to all military retractable undercarriage aircraft when giving a landing clearance to make sure gear is down and locked. Its a "challenge and response" scenario. So it would go something like this: Pilot: "Viper, base three greens" ATC: "Viper, cleared to land, check wheels" Pilot: "Cleared to land, Viper" (the pilot then presses a beep back button which only activates an audible beep over the radio when all gear is down and locked - not modelled in DCS). Cheers!
  25. @backspace340: Hey mate, thanks heaps for that. It improved my flying dramatically. He still ran out of fuel just before I could peg him, but he didn't get any shots on me. Cheers!
