  1. You're welcome to try using my default saved views here just extract this to your Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Config directory. Make sure to backup your own folder if you already have some of your own default views set first! I've tweaked the default views for most DCS Aircraft to suit my personal taste with the Oculus Rift.
  2. OK, it's an odd request, but flying with the Oculus Rift with no pilots in some of the aircraft feels just wrong! Please give us pilots in more of the planes!

  3. Check the mapping for the key in your controls, I seem to remember that a couple of aircraft were not the default RALT + NUM0 I'd recommend moving your sensor a little further away if you can too.
  4. Personally I'm not seeing the views move over time, although I haven't spent that much time in the A-10C beyond 20 minutes or so. Once I setup all of the Snap Views to my liking, everything has been great with all of the cockpits, the only issue being that the mirrors are now out of position in the aircraft that I had to make the greatest adjustments to such as the A-10C and the F-15C. I spent 2 hours in the seat of my L-39 a few nights ago practising RSBN navigation and circuits and didn't have to recenter my view once after the initial cockpit entry. Where is your sensor stand positioned? Mine is offset to the right by 20 degrees, same height as my Oculus and 2 meters away and I know for sure that it cannot move whilst I'm in flight (vibration from sound, cables twisted, etc).
  5. Thanks for reminding me to do this, I've always meant to get around to doing it, now I have it's great!
  6. 1.5.4.54316.106 Ground clutter (grass) is flickering in the right eye periodically. It's not a consistent flicker that occurs all of the time, or at a set interval, but for a split second the ground clutter appears to warp out of place and then back to it's correct position. Most noticeable when taxiing and some airfields appear to be impacted more than others, Novorossiysk (every 2 or 3 seconds) for example seems worse than some others such as Mozdok (once or twice every 10 seconds). Didn't notice this issue prior to this version. Using the VR Preset with Pixel density at 2.0
  7. Still present in 1.5.4.54316.106
  8. Confirmed here that with a G27 plugged in I have no trim either (force feedback checked or unchecked). Unfortunately due to my slightly OCD, ultra neat freak cable management It's not really an option for me to unplug and replug at will
  9. Same here, but I only get the clipping on the left side of my left eye. Right eye side is behaving perfectly.
  10. I can vouch for that too as a satisfied customer. I looked at trying to get one shipped to me in Australia and gave up until Andre provided a solution, and I'm very happy he did. I love the seat and HIS software makes it more than just a fancy vibrating cushion.
  11. 1. Do you have the power plugged in for the seat? 2. Do you see a Red, Green or Orange light on the physical control unit on the seat? 3. Take a screenshot and post it for where your seeing that it's not connected.
  12. I think I just got lucky with the mail, but I'm certainly not complaining :) a friend of mine also in Australia ordered his at the same time and is still waiting much to his disgust!
  13. Got my seat yesterday two weeks after ordering, and oh boy was it worth the wait. The sensation that you get from the various effects is superb, and Andre's support and communication throughout the whole process was flawless. Works great with Assetto Corso too, and I'm looking forward to what other magic that this man can do in the future, but for anyone on the fence, buy it. Best investment I've made since my Track IR and TM Warthog!
  14. Updated without issues today, to the latest version of DCS, but when I got home and then tried to install the Gazelle tonight... === Log opened UTC 2016-05-18 11:29:27 INFO : DCS_Updater/2.6.16.58 (Windows NT 6.2.9200; Win64; en-US) INFO : cmdline: "C:\DCS World\bin\DCS_updater.exe" --apply install POLYCHOPSIM_SA342 STATUS: Initializing... I'll try again tomorrow, may just be an internet routing issue
  15. Thanks, but I get the same timeouts when running the updater using the command line (DCS_updater.exe update 1.5.3.52724) too... I'll try again tomorrow.
  16. So I've been trying to install the Gazelle for a couple of hours now, but the DCS Updater keeps timing out. Are there issues with it, or is it just me? === Log opened UTC 2016-05-17 13:26:17 INFO : DCS_Updater/2.6.16.58 (Windows NT 6.2.9200; Win64; en-US) INFO : cmdline: "C:\DCS World\bin\DCS_updater.exe" --apply install POLYCHOPSIM_SA342 STATUS: Initializing... 17. The folder names have moved around since 1.5.3, Change the path of the folders within the JSGME to put the terrain into; DCS World\Mods\terrains\CaucasusBase instead of DCS World\Bazar\terrain
  18. I've only spent a half hour in her so far and started up a couple of times, hover taxied and landed but thus far; A couple of times I've started up and the instrument panel is shaking slightly as soon as I turn the battery on Engine starter doesn't always start after waiting for run up, sometimes requires 2 clicks Cyclic inputs have no effect on the ground resulting in uncontrollable movement when light on the skids Doesn't seem to generate any or much in ground effect? Controls are way too sensitive Gentle run on landings on anything other than a runway at low speed such as 20kmph, 50 ft/min descent = death
  19. Well being as you asked, here is the wish list (after the Harrier which you're already doing), in order of preference. Boeing AH-64 Apache General Dynamics F-16 Falcon Grumman A-6 Intruder Douglas A-4 Skyhawk McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom Douglas A-1 Skyraider Lockhead C-130 Hercules (yes, that's right, a C-130) Northrop Grumman E-2 Hawkeye (yep, you read that one right too)
  20. YAY HARRIER!
  21. Looks like you're flying in the Winter. Bear in mind the mod only works in Summer.
  22. Instant purchase, In fact take my money on the basis that you might make it... You do take pop caps right? I can finally re-live far too many hours of my mis-spent youth then For those of you instantly nostalgic, check out this link
