Did another test, seems this only happens, if the stennis is not alone in the group. I placed the Stennis without escort ships and could place more AC on it as in a group. Can someone test and confirm this please?

Hi, mine are client aircraft.

ME only allows to place 4 AC on Stennis in ME. Tried to create a new mission, existing ones seem not to be affected afaik. Can anyone confirm this? Regards, RR

Sorry, if i didnt clarify, but the question was for teriander who started this threat. as it is posted in the hornet section, it seems there are only 4 options: - IL78M - S3B - KC-130 - KC-135BDA as noone asked what tanker he tried, i thought i bring it up, cause the first 3 are no problem usualy, but the KC-135BDA is "bugged" atm as i understand. so if he tried at the KC-135BDA, his frustration is understandable and he should try the others :)

well, just asking, but what tanker are you trying to get fuel from?

Just to point it out as already mentioned above, you will enjoy learning in multiplayer if you search for a loose group of pilots or a full squadron that can answer questions in a multiplayer session. usualy you learn 10 times faster with someone on your wing, and you also will profit from other vPilots experiance while doing so. Bottom line is, i highly recommend going multiplayer with a helpfull group of pilots to have a better and usualy faster learning experiance. regards and happy learning, RR

i actualy parked on the elevator before the AI did, using a Harrier and later a Hornet. The key is, that the AI does not have space to park it's aircraft after landing. For Statics as "blocking-setup": Me riding along:

You can ride along, but you will fall of the lower deck when leaving the elevator down there, AI seems to be able to hover below deck :D

You propably would like to join one of the big servers for a test before saying it is running good on your laptop. Try the Blue Flag server for example, and you will notice a considerable performance loss if you even can connect. Missions with heavy load (many units, scripts, clients on it) use more resources.

1: What is the purpose of the second PC? Fly with it? Server only? 2: If you want to fly on it, you most likely need a second account there. Regards, RR

great work team, thanks for this mod :) question: do you consider giving the A4 as AI to ED to include in the core files? would make it a bit easier to include the aircraft in public missions where people dont have the mod. keep it up and enjoy the responses of the community, well deserved :) regards, RR

Würde mich auch sehr freuen, und mit einem Tornado wäre dann die Luftwaffe grob im Jahre 2000 recht gut aufgestellt in DCS: - F-4 (angekündigt von ED) - MiG-29 (vorhanden, leider nur FC3) - Tornado (fehlt) - UH-1 (vorhanden) - Bo-105 (bei welchem Entickler auch immer in arbeit) Da wären wir doch gut dabei:)

Dont know much about exporting stuff from DCS, but if it is possible to export the position of the boat, your position and your altitude, someone capable of programming should be able to create a simple overlay, aye? Just a thought.

Hi Bovery, habe wenig Ahnung von Laptops, daher nur ein paar Gedanken. Ohne Erfahrungsberichte mit diesem Adapter und DCS 2.5 würde ich da erstmal skeptisch bleiben. Reicht Dir die Größe des Laptop Displays? Früher oder später vermutlich nicht, wobei das aber noch am leichtesten "Nachzurüsten" ist mit einem Externen Bildschirm. Extrem zu empfehlen ist eine SSD für OS+DCS, und 250GB sind schon die untere Grenze in hinblick auf die Zukunft, ich kenne Deinen Laptop nicht, ab vermutlich ist dort eine Magnetplatte verbaut. Unterm Strich würde ich einen neuen PC empfehlen, WENN dir das mit DCS wirklich ernst ist. ABER: Der Adapter den Du verlinkt hast scheint nicht teuer zu sein, eine Graka brauchst auf alle Fälle, und die würde in einem PC dann auch gehen, da DCS ja erstmal Kostenlos ist würde ich es an Deiner Stelle vermutlich mal so porbieren, und ggf. dann doch einen PC bauen.
