welcome mate. Teamspeak 3 and a Headset is usualy all you need. Some time ago the Virtual Aerobatics server was a good startingpoint, even more so when you join some pilots on their Teamspeak Server. You can talk to mostly nice folks and fly without being shot at, learn a bit of formation flying and at least on teamspeak can ask questions. i liked to fly there, even if alone, as the world was not that empty :D dont know the status of VA though, but you may take a look in the serverlist to find out :) regards & have fun, RR

still loving that bird, and landings are always fun. i thought i give it a try on markindles CV-6 Yorcktown mod, although it looks fine, i broke a wing on landing and had to repair, ship speed 0 knots, wind ca. 15 knots from bow, all evidence from unsuccessfull takeoff has been destroyed on purpose however :D have a nice 109 day, RR

would love it, but also i wouldnt be suprised, if ED is already working on planes that usualy are deployed on a carrier with the hornet. they do a new carrier for it, so its not that far of to hope they also do the other "standart" airframes that would be deployed on the same boat :) *fingers crossed*

Danke für die Bilder, sehr nice :) Weil Du bei der A-400M von surealem Eindruck sprichst, hatte so einen Effekt mal auf einer (kleinen) Flugshow bei Bonn Hangelar vor ein paar Jahren, wenn ein Flugzeug mit 50kmh gegen den Wind fliegt und fast steht ist das schon komisch:

Hallo Liebe Community, da ich in Kürze mein System neu aufsetze habe ich eine Frage: Wenn DCS installiert wird, dann sucht es nach bestehenden Installationen. Beispiel: DCS 1.5 ist installiert, 2.0 wird installiert, 2.0 Installer zieht alles was möglich ist aus der 1.5 Installation. Nun die Frage: Weiß einer von euch, ob das von einem Registry Eintrag abhängig ist oder ob das bestehende Verzeichnis auf einer anderen Festplatte ohne Registry Eintrag reicht? Zur Erklärung: Normalerweise wäre es mir egal, aber ich habe Regionalbedingt leider ein Traffic Volumen. Danke für Antworten. Grüße, RR

ich hatte mal grüne fragmente überall im bild, erst tage später viel mir auf, dass es nicht nur in DCS war. es stellte sich herraus, das mein monitor kabel defekt war. muss bei dir nicht der grund sein, aber da es die kostengünstigste lösung ist würde ich das zuerst testen, falls noch nicht passiert ;) grüße, RR

ich würde euch bei schönem wetter einfach empfehlen mal in der altstadt am rheinufer langzulaufen (Stichwort Fischmarkt oder Alter Markt), da habt ihr mehr als genug möglichkeiten drinnen wie draussen zu sitzen, und ein bit gibts da auch ;) grüße, RR

Ich würde mir evtl eine größere SSD überlegen, mein DCS ordner (2.0) hat ca. 50GB bei einer vanilla install, dazu kommt dann noch caucasus und weitere maps in Zukunft. Deine 120GB könnten (falls DCS auf der installiert ist) ein wenig dünn werden.

Hi gents, i think it would be interesting for all mission builders, offical or community ones, to have a place to look for voice actors instead of asking for them on the forums. If you want to offer your voice post as follows: - your location with timezone - your native language - other fluently spoken languages - have an accent, which one - experiance as voice actor & recording equipment - kind of voice i.e. low, high, strong, soft, etc. Please only this information, no discussion, and mission builders can just PM you. If someone doesnt want to post in public i would be willing to collect information by PM and create a privat list of actors that can be given to mission builders on request. regards, RR

i would expect it, as ED is going to release the Hornet with a "better" carrier in the future. for that matter a good working carrier operation is needed, so this old bug should be fixed by that time. regards, RR
