  1. Congrats mate, and i hope your not stuck at line seven of nine :D sorry, couldnt resist :P all the best, RR
  2. If you want to spawn client helicopters on deck, you can do it the following way: Open: C:\*yourpath*\DCS World OpenBeta\CoreMods\aircraft\AV8BNA\LHA_Tarawa.lua Goto line 304 and change it from: "ski_jump", to: -- "ski_jump", It works wonderfull in MP, but be adviced, that it is NOT working for AI.
  3. if you have a track file, the mission file should be saved in it, so you might take a look :)
  4. have fun :D My wife had a strange look on here face when she looked at our siamnese cat after it, hehe. regards, RR
  5. Update: I found my forum post from back then, it was in august 2015, so it seems not to be possible anymore :( but as a reference: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2459495&postcount=6 https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2459839&postcount=9 regards, RR
  6. Hi mate, i will check what i did some time ago, and see if it still works, because i was indeed able to refuel ca 500 meters away from the FARP, so it at least WAS possible at SOME point :) regards, RR
  7. Technicaly you could just replace the 3D Model with a windsock as example, if they havent changed the code there was a line in farp.lua? where you could alter the radius around the farp where you can get fuel/ammo/repair. Need to look that up when i'm home from work if needed ;) regards, RR
  8. I like it, and more diversity is good :) Looking forward to some videos from aerobatic teams and also from mock dogfights with 51/109/190/Spit, should be quite interesting :D +1 Magnitude for doing something different, and i believe you learn something for future piston engines aircraft dev. on the way as well :) regards, RR
  11. edit: disregard, wrong subject :(
  12. Hi gents, havent found anything with forum search, dont know if its a bug (not in known bug list from zeus anyway). i can select the next waypoint with the button on the stick or via the EHSD page, the previous waypoint should be selectable via the button 13 (middle button right side of MFD) while WYPT is selected, but thats not working. am i doing something wrong? does it work for you? thanks and regards, RR

There will be new entries with time, like for the Harrier, Hornet etc., those must be added by hand if you dont have the module. regards, RR
  16. speaking ot the death star and planets, we had massive FPS drops in the past when clusterbombs were droped, will the explosion of a planet after beeing attacked by the death star result in similiar FPS drops? what will be the optimum PC setup to run such a scene in constant 120FPS with VR?
  17. So with all the classified tech on imperial side, will we ever see a mutlicrew stardestroyer? i would like to team up with my home town to crew one for sure ;)
  18. Also the AI for the R2 unit is taking more time then expected :D
  20. Hi folks, i found >>> that <<< article today, thought might be interesting, and by the way you may try it yourself in DCS, i will for sure :) Happy reading, RR
  21. @EagleEye, i meant the ability to place trains on the map, thought it came with the last patch, so i said i like that feature :) regards, RR
  22. your train consists of only engines, no wagons, maybe that is causing issues? havent had luck with that new feature yet myself, any information welcome :) regards, RR
  23. Hi gents, i thought you might enjoy this list of the greatest planes in Eric Browns opinion from the area 1930 to 1970. For those who are not familiar with this man, he was a Royal Navy aviator and test pilot in Britain, having flown 487 diffrent aicraft (no subversions counted i.e. Spitfire Mk. I, II, V, etc. would count as one aicraft type) and the man with the most carrierlandings to his account, 2,407. You can read about him on wikipedia. The list itself is from his book: Wings on my sleeve I just finished it, and it is highly recommended for anyone interested, a joy to read :) Anyway, here is his list from the book with his comments: Avro Lancaster: Just to sit in the cockpit was sheer joy. It exuded self-confident. Boing B-29 Superfortress: Gave a feeling of unpregnability. Bücker Jungmeister: An aerobatic gem. De Havilland Hornet: Overpowered perfection. Douglas Boston: Its take-off acceleration was a taste of things to come. Fieseler Storch: A virtuoso of slow flight. Focke Wulf 190D-9: German fighter technology at its best. Gloster Gladiator: Last of the great biplane fighters. Grumman Bearcat: A pilot''s dream mashine. Hawker Hunter: Flies as good as it looks. Junkers 88: Efficent in all its multi-roles, and a delight to fly. Lockheed Constellation: A standard bearer for long-haul passenger airliners. Macchi C.205: A wonderful combination of Italian styling and German power. McDonnell F-4 Phantom II: Exciting performance and a thrill to fly. Martin-Baker MB.5: A real beauty that arrived too late for World War II. Nort American F-86E Sabre: Handling perfection with help of a 'flying tail'. Nakajima Frank: A lively performer that was a revelation to fly. Supermarine Spitfire XII: Jeff Quill and I enjoyed this most of all Spitfires. Vickers Viscount: Set a new standard for short-haul passenger airliners. Personal note: I guess it was hard for him to descide on a list with so many diffrent types he had flown, anyway, an interesting list in my opinion, hope you enjoy :) Regards, RR
  24. My tired 109 needed a break, in the shadows with a nice view, very enjoyable :) PS: The landing was perfect, just stopping before the treeline was another thing :D
  25. Huey, Spit & 109 ready to go, this time i join the hype train, most likely fewer then 10 hours to go, yeah :) RR
