The 40mm Bofors is the most lethal gun at the moment imo. They are too accurate and a single hit will kill you most of the time, or at least will send you home for repairs. Btw.... I'm now streaming every friday evening from 4YA, mostly flying the Anton.

There will only be one season for normandy 2 (summer). From the first post of the thread: We plan for the Normandy 2.0 to only include the summer season as it is being created around operations in Normandy in the summer of 1944 (Opération Neptune).

You have to hit the right spot - engine/pilot. Also try deflection shooting, hitting your enemy from dead 6 o clock isn't the best. A single 1sec burst is enough to bring the Anton down - if you hit the vital parts.

Maybe they could be bound to the mission date? 1945+ will get you these airfields with new layout, older dates will switch to the 1944 layout

Je grösser die Datei, desto höher die Wahrscheinlichkeit dass der Track etwas ganz anderes zeigt als wirklich passiert ist. Wenn möglich, eine möglichst einfache Mission verwenden. 1 Gegner und das eigene Flugzeug, Airstart und dann feuern. Dann direkt die Mission beenden und den Track speichern. So ist die Wahrscheinlichkeit am höchsten dass man den Fehler erkennt.

You have to disable the historical filter, or set the mission date to 1939-1945 when the historical mode is on.

I rather have a bigger map with low detail zones than a smaller map with only high detail.

Die Channel Map sieht besser aus, ist aber auch deutlich kleiner als die Normandy Map. Und wie schon gesagt wird die Normandiekarte in Zukunft nochmals deutlich vergrössert und London + Paris eingefügt. Wenn du Multiplayer spielen willst ist Normandy ebenfalls die bessere Wahl, die grossen WW2 Server verwenden nur Normandy.

Man bekommt soweit ich weis kein Exklusivrecht auf ein Flugzeugmuster. Es wäre theoretisch möglich dass mehrere 3rd Party Verträge für ein Muster haben. ED hat ja schonmal die Lizenz für die L-39 an eine 3rd Party gegeben, als die Entwicklung dann aber zu lange gedauert hat haben sie ihre eigene L-39 entwickelt und veröffentlicht.
