  2. A friend ( @Droggelkelch ) and I had a crash yesterday evening at roughly the same time, flying on the LK Flashpoint Levant Europe server during sunset. We used the MT version. Is someone else here experiencing instability during certain daytimes with this new update? I had the suspicion it could be related to the new lighting that takes effect or has an increased performance/calculation hit some point around sunset I guess. No expert though. We did send the crash reports.
  3. Ah ok, interesting, so that's how development is defined. Didn't know that yet. Airbus, Boeing, LM, etc. neither I guess... Not attacking anyone, I was just correcting the misquote. I couldn't care less actually, F-4E is ready when it's ready. Makes it easier to not be disappointed when it only releases in 5 yrs or whenever. We have many other toys anyways. Same I said to myself about the F-15E from FEB 2013, back when it was "not in development".

  6. Meiner Einschätzung nach sollte die AIM-9L sowieso Plug'n'Play zur B sein. Wenn ich mich recht erinnere wurde auch die IRIS-T analog zur L im Plug'n'Play Stil integriert und kann daher ihr Potenzial auf dem Tornado auch garnicht ausschöpfen. Die Bedienung sollte sich da also nicht unterscheiden. Ich wüsste nicht das eine Art "slave to radar STT" integriert wurde. Und ein HMD gibt es im TOR auch nicht.
  7. The AI MiG-21 is just crazy at the moment. The AI FM on that one really is o.p. in my opinion.

  9. I think the FC3 F-15C nozzle sound is louder than the F-15E. So I was wondering about the volume as well, although I can hear them sufficiently. I don't run any sound mods.
  10. 2h15min combat patrol with belly tank -> pretty easy. I did a 1,5h 660nm round trip once with @Bremspropeller, ~50% low level, with 2-3min dogfight after target run, flying home 200nm above M1.0. 300nm inbound with 2 bags and 6x400kg high drag bombs, outbound clean. We landed with 800kgs. 140 KIAS clean, with only ~1000kgs (which is about the fuel level one should have at landing), should be possible, Ill try it as well. Radar locks above 15km are possible, they depend on target size of course.

  12. But I still think there is an issue, I noticed it again lately on Syria and Marianas map. I think the headwind was > 5 kts, still the ILS was not active for some airbases like Andersen or Akrotiri.
  13. Hi MAESTRO, good to hear something from your guys. Syria is still my most used map. How about some bug fixes together with the improvements? - Light poles on runway finals, at least in Haifa and Gazipasa - Inverted ILS, always active for the wrong direction respective to the wind (although this is a DCS problem in general I think) - many more Thanks and developer greetings!
  14. Checked it. My buddies hit the target and talked me through Actually in the German Forum section someone pointed out it even was mentioned in the release notes. I had more luck going into a steady 5° dive 20 seconds prior release. No misses any more. Interesting. Didn't check yet, so should have the default settings. I am always doing the full GC align. Status was OK, 0.0. Also I would expect drift being updated by GPS, wouldn't it?
  15. What can it do? Is it like a LASER based terrain avoidance, or more used for human made obstacles, like power lines and their poles, or such things? So what would be the use, capabilities and limitations?
  16. Bei mir gehts nicht um den LASER. Der LASER funktioniert normal. Ich hab n anderes Problem. Die Bombe fällt viel zu weit und mein release point passt nicht zu dem Punkt den ich im TPOD designate. Siehe Beschreibung englisches: Solo alias alleine im Flugzeug, natürlich hab ich nicht den Flieger auf SOLO im ME gesetzt. War ja ein normaler MP server.

  18. Habs im englischen Teil gepostet, hatte gestern Probleme bei A20 level releases, immer ziemlich zu lang geworfen. TDC press hat nicht geholfen (AUTO, STEP, N/T, GBU-12) Vielleicht bin ich auch zu dumm Andere Frage: gibt es schon einen geilen detailierten EURO1 skin für die Dreck-Henne? I know, not realistic, war ne B, mir egal
  19. Off topic, but if I read this, I should ask someone to support me in tuning my system. I run a 5900X with a 6900XT, 1440p. I can get quite low frame rates, now with the new F-15E, not even maxed out everything and using MT...
  20. Hi all, yesterday I experienced a weird issue, but it might have been a user error. I am very early in learning, was my first weapon deployment. I had some buddies with me along explaining and dropping bombs as well... - I was dropping GBU-12 (4x on each side) in AUTO, STEP, N/T mode from 20.000ft - TGP was SOI, my WP 2 was target point (2. (2-dot) and triangle), and relatively close to some spread out M60 victim tanks, ELEV was set - I slewed the TGP over a tank and initially used the HOTAS command AUTO-ACQ-PRESS to box AREA track - (I noticed this is possibly wrong to just box ATRK or PTRK or CPTR, I later tried to sometimes box it, sometimes not) - I slewed again, AUTO-ACQ-AFT to slave to WP, slewed over a tank again and performed TDC PRESS - TPOD format displayed DESGINATE (I assumed now the target really must be designated) - During my inbound section I noticed I come very close (I already felt a too late bomb drop) and the bomb fall line was also off to the side, sending me maybe 0,25 or half a mile next to the target (Wind was 4m/s at 8000 meter, 4m/s at 2000m and 0 at 0, so not much wind) - I tried again and again, flew more outbound sometimes as well, always DESIGNATING with the TDC press, sometimes with LASER on to ensure more precise measurement... always dropped the bombs maybe 2nm too long, unable to see the LASER My buddies were together in one bird and, apart from some TGP desync issues, were able to hit targets with GBU-12 and GBU-24
