Thanks for the clarification. I wasn't really sure of the exact details but I kind of got the hint both graphic card brands super sampling technology would be worked on. FSR 3 with DCS: Any sort of help to get good performance in dcs would be welcome. For whatever it will be worth when it comes, FSR 3 has that universal appeal as all graphic can get to use it. One aspect of DLSS that is not so good is that it locks out other brands graphic card. Looking forward to the directx implementation of fsr 3. Sent from my XQ-AT52 using Tapatalk

Never had a crash until now. This only have when I want to launch into VR. Launching with VR off works just fine. The app will crash when I want to get into VR with the error message below. Any help would be great. See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box. ************** Exception Text ************** System.IO.IOException: Cannot create a file when that file already exists. at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath) at System.IO.File.InternalMove(String sourceFileName, String destFileName, Boolean checkHost) at Microsoft.VisualBasic.FileIO.FileSystem.CopyOrMoveFile(CopyOrMove operation, String sourceFileName, String destinationFileName, Boolean overwrite, UIOptionInternal showUI, UICancelOption onUserCancel) at DCS_Updater_GUI_Utility.Form_Main.PRESET_ON() at DCS_Updater_GUI_Utility.Form_Main.LAUNCHDCSVRON() at System.Windows.Forms.Control.OnClick(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Button.OnMouseUp(MouseEventArgs mevent) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WmMouseUp(Message& m, MouseButtons button, Int32 clicks) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.ButtonBase.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Button.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam)

CAS may not be significantly apparent in SE like in true fly-by-wire F-18C but I reckon should be on to use autopilot feature in the jet. . Sent from my XQ-AT52 using Tapatalk

Interesting. Everything was fine with my Intel platform. Hmmm. Some more probing then. Sent from my XQ-AT52 using Tapatalk

[quote post=" since AMD did not convince me platform wise (crappy USB implementation, even now after all these updates to the USB my G2 is not totally perfect and I have crackling from my USB-C Audio Interface which I use as a soundcard). However, if the X3D-CPUs are significantly faster, I would go with AMD another time. I have been forced to use a Bluetooth earbud for my audio in vr headset since I switched to AMD platform. Quite a bit on a con for going from intel to amd. I have tried all could to fix cracking noise and cut-out but no joy. A trade off I have to put up with for the performance uplift. Simple. Like razor+ has said. If you have an extra hard drive, you backup dcs main installed folder (E.g Eagle Dynamics /Openbeta or Stable as the case msyvbe) and importantly your saved game folder for dcs. When done with the hard drive formatting, you just copy back these two backed up folder and you are good to go from there. Sent from my XQ-AT52 using Tapatalk

That is the very reason we are eagerly awaiting implementation of (DTC) Data Cartridge. Something like setting up your master modes preferences for each jet, save it to your call sign name, get in he jet and load it into the system. Further mission specific alteration can be done perhaps during startup. So we are expecting ED to finish work on this feature. No much has been said about it in recent times. Updated: Reduced ECS sound based on SME input when Hear in Helmet option is enabled Thank you Razbam. This should serve everyone equitably. Sent from my XQ-AT52 using Tapatalk

Eaglewings replied to dave76's topic in DCS: Eurofighter
Like many fellows have put out already, no way we are seeing the Eurofighter end of 2023. The Dcs community would completely be taken by the biggest surprise in it's history if Heatblur and Truegrit release any kind of Eurofighter end of 2023 with what they have in their hands presently. I would like to experience that kind of shock though but highly in doubt. Sent from my XQ-AT52 using Tapatalk -
Something like the meatball light super imposed in a visible form as in the Supercarrrier would really be convenient. An option to turn it on or off in the special menu area for those who wouldn't like it can be added. I do really struggle to see the lights in vr in the F-15E and F-16. Not so much in the F-18 that uses the boom to refuel. So yeah, superimposed displayed would be great considering the limitations in virtual aicraft flying Sent from my XQ-AT52 using Tapatalk

Flew the inherent resolve mission last night. Jtac gave a coordinate for a second attack which I inputted rightly, cloud was really thick so the Targeting Pod was significantly limited in finding the manpad and trucks at that position. Tried hard to get those targets on HRM mode on the ground radar and no luck. It is possible I was looking at the wrong location or I was asking to much of the ground radar for such targets. Coming back after watching the appended short demonstration videos on the damage animation. Waooo! That is just nice. Am sure this destruction animation is a first in dcs maps. Is it? Brilliant. Sent from my XQ-AT52 using Tapatalk

Great job and well done to Ugra media team. That is a really quick fix response to the complains about performance issues after the recent patch. The damage models to buildings and structures is a big step forward. Sent from my XQ-AT52 using Tapatalk

Sound like they kind of dampen the high pitch of the aircon noise somewhat. Very subtle I would say. I can put up with aircon at default norm position now, at max is just still too much for me presently. I can deaden the sound further by going to min while having aircon source swith at both engine. Before the patch update, aircon had to be min and aircon source at either left or right engine for a comfy flight. Sent from my XQ-AT52 using Tapatalk

Yes it sounds so. I have noticed it has been turned down a notch. I could flying long flight without feeling bothered by the constant whoosh sound. Sent from my XQ-AT52 using Tapatalk

Have you switched the Targeting pod to on in the wso seat. Check the left panel on the wso cockpit to turn tpod switch

Someone posted a sneak-peek from Razbam discord of some fixes likely coming to the F-15E in next open beta and I can see this listed: Improved: Adjusted ECS airflow sound gain I have the feeling this could be addressing the concern about loud ECS noise expressed here on this thread. Fingers crossed.

Nice to see this great feedback on AMD GPU. Are you experiencing any visual anomalies with motion reprojection turned on? There are a lot of complain about AMD GPU in VR and that has made any gpu upgrade focus on the Nvidia cards only for me. -

I believe he is using HP reverb g2. I see g2 mentioned in the writeup. -
That is a huge number of fixes, adjustment and addition after a few days of release of the Strike Eagle. Great from Razbam and thanks to open post for giving this heads-up. Exciting flying ahead in the upgraded Syria map and the F-15E in the upcoming open beta update

Impressive screenshots and videos. Optimizing to improve playability on this map would be highly welcome. Kudos to Ugra Media for the continue support and work on the Syria map. Looking forward to the next openbeta release.

The F-15 Strike Eagle is not that bad. Great as it is presently and of course, bugs cannot be avoided at this stage of her release All my sorties are presently in the Strike Eagle at this time and I think Razbam has done quite well. Hoping to see the Eagle grow stronger wings in capabilities and usability under Razbam tender care.

Open post observation is equally something I have noticed especially in the new open beta. The cockpit labeling are blurry and pixalated except I zoom in close at those panel and mfds. I use cockpit mod to provide some contrast.
