  1. It's not the new ED-model, it's the 3GO model that was made for FC2, you can find it at http://www.lockonfiles.com
  2. I have no idea how many people have wished for this, it's been an "issue" since the days of Lock-On, but still nothing... In the latest DCS-version there is no vapor at all, maybe this means that they are working on something new, and wanted to get rid of the old awful wing tip vapor? It would be nice to get a comment from ED about this, as I dont understand why it still has'nt been added...
  3. The American aircraft have a dedicated "gun" trigger, pushing this will fire the gun if you are in the right mode, you dont have to be in "gun mode" to fire the gun.
  4. It's quite simple really, a lot of people dont play online. And I for one, certainly dont play on open public servers. "Air Quake" where people are dropping in and out all the time is not for me...
  5. No, the roundel is like a banner, and it should be "flowing with the wind". This paint is nicer than your "Hello Kitty" paint, Taproot, but I think "low viz" roundels would look better :)
  6. I cant believe people are paying for things like this...
  7. Too old to wait for DCS: Fast jet? ;)
  8. Fantastic news, Im very exited about the Bug! Still waiting for the Viper, but the Bug will make the wait a lot easier ;)
  9. That's already a part of DCS: World :)
  10. That didnt exactly make me want to give X-Plane another try, it looks awful..
  11. I love the Swiss Bug too, great looking tail :)
  12. Download DCS World and see for yourself, it should give you a fair guess as to what to expect. The Warthog is a bit heavier than the default Su-25T, but as I said, it will give you some indication :)
  13. Had a look at this today and thought it was quite fun. Of course if you go into this expecting something on par with DCS you will be disappointed, but if you take it for what it is, an MMO shooter with planes, I think there's quite a bit of fun to be had here.
  14. But the Viper seems to be more "roomy", I have'nt had the pleasure of sitting in a Rafale, but from the video it does look like a tight fit. Beautiful machine nonetheless, and always puts on a very impressive display at airshows.
  15. The Canadian Hornets look great! Any Swiss or Finnish Hornets in the works? :)
  16. That's quite an AOA on the C-130s :P
  17. Modelling one of the last versions of the MiG-29 probably wont be possible, for that exact reason, but there's a lot of countries who are flying, or have flown, the early versions of the MiG-29. So getting the information needed to model that, should be possible. There's even a few civilian MiG-29s in the US.
  18. If this means that ED is thinking about doing a MiG-29 somewhere down the line, I think it's fantastic news.
  19. Im not much of a Flanker fan, but Im happy to see that she gets some much needed attention.
  20. Agreed! FC3 is okay while we wait for the next DCS module, but I agree that this should be the last FC version.
  21. Im no mechanic, Im just retelling what I've been told earlier, but if it's not correct, I will make a note of it ;)
  22. Agreed! I've never been a big Eagle fan, until now...
  23. The F-15's F-100 engines make a quite distinctive "whoop" noise caused by bleed air escaping from pressure relief valves in the pneumatic nozzle operating system, when the exhaust nozzle petals are opened up or closed down. Would it be possible to add this to the FC3 Eagle? It's a small detail I know, but the details are what make DCS so great.
  24. While Id love more AI units Id prefer ED to update the existing models first; the Flankers, MiG-29, F-16 etc. are all from the Lock-On era.
