With "improved special effects" does this mean that we'll finally get some vapor effects? The cockpit looks very nice, but I have'nt really made up my mind yet...

I dont know if this is true for the Flankers as well, but during Red Flag Alaska the German Typhoon pilots found the F-22s TVC capabilities to be pretty much useless in a dogfight. Using the TVC would cause the F-22 to spend all it's energy, and become slow and an easy prey for the Typhoons.

Yes, but if you're at Akerbrygge your going to have the sun in your face, not the best conditions for photography :)

It was actually said on the Facebook page that there would be an F-35, model of course. Im going, planning on going down on friday after work to scope out the best photo spots, I think Akershus Festning might be a good place.

Ive downloaded and installed the Wunderluft example aircraft, have edited quite a bit of things to find out what they do, and Ive added my own models, but I cant seem to find any files that affect the flight model. Where do I find these files? I know the "Wunderluft.lua" file lets you play around with weight and so on, but nothing very advanced, as far as I can see.

If you're referring to the aircraft in the previous post they are T-6 Texans/Harvards :)

Not a US airshow, it was in China, but it is real. Here's a picture from the other side. Not from the same show, but also very low in a Flanker... I love airshows, but I dont think I would feel comfortable seeing something like this.

The last one i not a demo jet, it was paited for the NATO Tiger Meet. The Belgian demo jet has, unfortunately, been sick for a long time this season, hope they keep it for next year.

While I do like the ne explosions I have to agree that more than one explosion would be great.

This is a bug, I experienced the same thing after downloading the newest version of DCS: World, try to do a reinstall.

I had exactly the same problem with the Mustang after installing the new version, have'nt had time to try a reinstall yet though.

Okay, maybe it was a bit harsh, but I still feel that my point is valid. You know what to expect from developers after seeing what they have done before, for instance, if Electronic Arts announced that they were going to develop an F-16 simulator, you would'nt expect the same kid of fidelity from that as you would if ED was developing it.

Im not saying that FSX developers wont be able to make something for DCS, Im sure that VRS could make a very nice Superbug for DCS, and Im sure that some of the Iris aircraft will be very nice. But when it comes to Razbam, I just dont have that much faith in them, having tried their add-ons for FSX... Time will show I guess, and hopefully developers that cant deliver the DCS standard will be gone after a while.

The VTAI F-16 doesnt look very good, so Ive been hoping for another F-16, and this one looks good so far. :thumbup:

Been asking for this for years, but still nothing... Dont think its going to change in FC3 either to be honest.

Looking forward to this one, I keep FSX on my computer just to fly the Lotussim L-39, so a DCS-version is most welcome! :)
