The only issue would be modeling ECM in the DCS world. It could be done but it would have to be mostly guesswork since the vast majority of ECM tech is classified. Personally...I'd love to be able to build a "Final Countdown" Carrier wing. Tomcats, Corsairs, Intruders, Vigilantes, Crusaders... Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh

DCS: SA342 Gazelle Complete English Cockpit Mod
Sierra99 replied to Devrim's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
Hey Devrim! Great MOD. I thought I'd wasted my money on the Gazelle until I found this MOD and the auto pilot functions. Any chance making this work with the Minigun version? Thanks in advance -
1.) Remove any mods 2.) Run Repair 3.) Go to "C":\Users"Name"\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta and delete the folders fxo and metashaders. Restart game and launch mission. game will rebuild those folders and hopefully fix the problem.

Let me explain... ...? No. To long. Let me sum up. A-10C is still great. Don't forget Ricardo HORSE OF WAR cockpit. Caucases looks amazing following scenery overhaul... Nevada Maps is a ball but download 476th map and range objects... Normandy map is pretty to fly over... Persian Gulf map is going to be amazing along with FA-18. There. All caught up.

So you are implying the Israelis took a perfectly good F-15...tore a wing off and pretended it was an inflight mishap? Seriously?

Wait...they moved Russia? Cause last time I checked...Russia...is pretty much located in the northern hemisphere. Asking for a friend.

“ALPHA” ACCESS. Not beta. Not release. ALPHA. That means they can change just about whatever they want for testing purposes. There’s nothing unethical about it in the least. If you find this objectionable perhaps in the future you should wait for the. ETA or release versions before purchasing.

What May 31st Deadline? Spring 2018 in Northern Hemisphere began on Tuesday, March 20 and ends on Thursday, June 21...

I too have 32gb of system Memory and a 4gb Video card. I used to see 18-20 GB of system memory used...now I max out the video card memory while I only use about 4 GB of system Memory.. Hence my question.

- The first version of the video memory manager is implemented. This function will purge the video memory when the budget allocated by Windows is reached. Resources that were not used in the last 10 seconds are the first to be purged. - So here's my question...what does "This function will purge the video memory when the budget allocated by Windows is reached" Is the "budget allocated by Windows" a value that can be modified by users? I have 32 GB of ram and currently using 4.

The only twist I see to this is...A carrier is moving. Easy to define fixed positions on Terra Firma...Maybe not so easy on a moving boat? (I have no inside knowledge just tossing this out for conversation sake)

Perhaps you could post your log file...I'm not seeing any sort of timeout errors.

Operation "Blue Flag" - 24/7 PvP Campaign - ROUND 9
Sierra99 replied to gregzagk's topic in Multiplayer
Would it be possible oh gods of Blueflag to have the Gazelle Minigun version added to blue side as a troop / cargo transport? -
Let me know what skin you are trying to use and what version of DCS you are using. (Also are you using OVGME or JSGME?) Sierra

Zeus... Is there an updated version of the quick start guide reflecting new features?

Most likely the brevity code for cleared to fire. Every ATO period the brevity codes were changed to keep adversaries guessing about our intentions. I remember on night the code for bingo fuel was "gravy" and the code for request RTB was jello. Blech!

You guys politicking for the Falklands are talking about 2 islands, with less HALF the surface area of the Nevada map, a whole lot of ocean and 2 months, 1 week and 5 days of actual combat. I just don't see worldwide interest...

Their job is to verify the missiles performs as expected depending on the parameters are being tested. What may "look" like a "straight and level noob drone pilot" being killed may have been an 9 G pull off bore sight shot for the shooting aircraft... What may "look" like a "straight and level noob drone pilot" being killed may have been a test of passive or active counter measures employment at various stages of the attack. There's more to testing than just seeing if thing go "Boom".

I don’t normally resurrect a thread but this comment is a perfect example of forming an opinion with little to zero firsthand knowledge. “do ureally think that a drone, no matter how advance, can match a multi million dollar jet piloted by a human being.” First...it IS a multimillion dollar jet piloted by a human being. Second...the human piloting the jet not only has access to cockpit data to make decisions but also outside data in the test environment to make decisions with. Finally...The human pilot operating the multimillion dollar aircraft is not constrained by things like “G”, Heat, a helmet...He's sitting in an air conditioned trailer using the same controls he used in the aircraft and can employ that aircraft to its maximum ability. In reality your comment is just the opposite of what you imply. In a test the Drone has the advantage.

Blue Doesn't have anything CLOSE to true SEAD Capability. Compared to what Red side has with the Su-25T what you mention are compromises / last resort measures in real life.

No no...like I said I HATE IT when people say just check the manual. I will usually try to offer some sort of meaningful answer and then reference the manual. But I've only played with the resources a little as well and didn't want to give bad info. Cheers
