  1. Has anyone made a 3D printed gear lever that fits a standard toggle switch?
  2. What specific features are you concerned about? "Although you’ll be starting the Hornet using battery power almost all the time, the ground power electrical bus panel will also functional. However, you’d only really use this during systems tests when you do not want to start up the jet. After requesting external electrical power from the ground crew, you will enable the main external electrical power switch. With external electrical power enabled, you can use the four ground power switches that each controls a separate group of systems/instruments. The control bus for each switch is listed on placard below the DISP button." They have modeled systems that probably won't be used by normal players...what makes you think they won't model the more important systems?
  3. So here’s my question...without looking through 486 posts...is it possible to modify the code so a SPST On / Off toggle switch will work the Landing year in the A10 and F-18?
  4. Wikipedia also says it can carry Harpoons... I'll take the word of Tech orders over the experts of Wikipedia everyday of the week.
  5. Two words... Early Access.
  6. Does anyone have a CAD drawing of the A-10 front panel? I just need the outline no othe cutouts. Thanks in advance
  7. So in the future will we see fixed parking spaces on carriers the same as airfields is is that not possible with moving objects?
  8. Hey... Jabbers mentioned a replacement O-Ring for his warthog...got any information on that?
  9. No...it's not plausible. The Harrier cannot carry Hapoons. Period. The B-61 tactical nuke is smaller than a Harpoon AND a fuel tank...Harriers can't carry them. Why? because there is far more to "carrying a weapon" than whether or not it fits under the wing. First, In the real world it takes more than modifying a .lua file to qualify a weapon for use on an aircraft. Those modifications cost money...lots of it. Second, Every single unit in the military has a specific wartime mission. That is what they are manned for, that is what their training time is dedicated to and what they are proficient in. There are units specifically tasked with employing Harpoons during combat...they have training money and time allocated to make sure they can employ the harpoons effectively if necessary. If a unit has a different mission...say marine AV-8B harriers...there is no reason to A. Spend the money modifying the aircraft to carry the harpoon... B. Spend the money training AV-8 Crews to employ the harpoon...
  10. I'm going to order this on the 1st... And if you do an F-18C I'll order one of those too!
  11. If you map your Warthog realistically the TMS switch should be unused. You can used the left and Right TMS for rudder. Keep an eye on eBay and BH photo...the thrust master pedals can be found fairly cheap.

Sooooo now that we have it...what is it displaying? I Understand it's a workin progress...
  14. On a larger stage the O-2 is very important. Fits into a Vietnam Era map very well with the F-4 and MiG-21.
  15. Just about ALL of these comments are based on the gut reaction that ED is abandoning the F-4 to milk the F-16 cash cow...which could well be the case. Perhaps it's not a money issue...perhaps it's just a matter of which one is closer to being ready... Many people have pointed out that the F-16 shares MANY features with aircraft already in the game. What does the F-4 share? I am the manager of a company and I want to build two cars...one I have most of the parts for...the other I Don't have the parts for...as a businessman I am going to build the car I have parts for first. Even if the car I need parts for might be more popular. Doesn't mean I never build the other car...but To hold up the production of one over the other based on emotion is silly.
  16. Just out of curiosity is there a "standard position" (Up or Down) that Carrier elevators are normally stowed. I looked through the CVN NATOPS and couldn't find anything definitive. It would make sense UP would be normal for fall protection and space issues...but can't find any evidence.
  17. That’s it? ???? Can not wait to get my hands on this airplane. Well done Heatblur!
  18. A-10C. Very Forgiving to fly...very powerful in a fight...Then move on to an F-15C

    F-15E?

These tests do not represent the correct landing gear sequence...

    Just Wow...

Out of the Park ED! Thank you for the new Mission Editor features ESPECIALLY the 2D object view. For those of us who build missions this will save countless hours!
  21. I’m sorry QuiGon. I didn’t come close to saying that clearly... I know what the buttons purpose is...I intend to use it as my TRACK IR center... What I am trying to figure out is what “button” to use to Duplicate it on a Suncom Stick I am rewiring. Sorry for the confusion. English is my primary language...but you’d never know it the way I butcher it sometimes.
  22. OK...There seems to be a sound bug... When starting the Gazelle...There is a momentary noise that sounds like a Motorcycle starting up...Then as the engine starts it there is a constant sound like a Diesel running at high RPM. I'm guessing the second sound is supposed to be the Ducted Tail Rotor Fan but is it supposed to be that loud in the cabin?
  23. Soooo anyone figured out what button is used for the recce event button on the F-18C Stick? It looks like one of the smaller OTTO controls offerings but it's hard to tell from pictures.
