  1. I'll have to update the procedure... I believe that information came from one of xxJohnxx's videos IIRC, which date back to the module's initial release... waaay before Heatblur updated their manual in the recent months. Are the radar ranging and target movement the only things that need to be changed?
  2. Unfortunately no. Content creators like Heatblur, Jabbers and Magz will probably do a much better job than I ever could.
  3. Pas de soucis!
  4. It depends. See this thread: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=111058 If you just use the fuel cutoff (T handle) switch, the only thing it does is that it cuts fuel and shuts the engine down, possibly snuffing out the fire. However, you may also have to use the extinguishing agent if the fire isn't put out by the T handle alone. In that case, you can't really restart the engine since it's full of that foamy chemical extinguisher agent.
  6. It's a bit maddening to see instruments like the ADF not functional after all these months.
  7. Oulà... ça en fait du papier!
  8. It's quite possible. Last time I touched it was 2016, so things may very well have changed since then. I'll look into it in a few weeks when I come back home.
  9. Thanks for the comments everyone. I know this format of preview isn't for everyone (youtube ideos usually get higher visibility), but I'm happy to see some of you found it interesting.
  10. At the moment they're not physical objects... the only module that has a GPU model is the C-101 IIRC. All other modules have invisible GPU and air carts.
  11. Could've been a mistake on my part. Apologies.
  12. GND takes around 4 minutes, while CV takes around 2 minutes.
  14. Oh, right. I misunderstood your post. I'll get it fixed right away.
  15. "Looks wrong" based on what? The Early Access Manual states that the "80" you see on my slide is the Azimuth Scan setting. "Azimuth Scan. The RADAR can have azimuth scan settings of 20, 40, 60, 80, and 140 degrees. Pressing this pushbutton cycles between the settings with successive presses." (from the ED manual p 158) My interpretation of this paragraph is that the radar azimuth sweep angle can be set manually and that a smaller azimuth angle gives you a faster radar response time. You won't always want your radar to cover the full 140 deg (since it gives you a slower response time). If you have solid information that the radar scale works differently, by all means please share this information with us so I can do the correction. However, what I see so far is consistent with what's written in the ED manual.
  16. Done. Please check the rev dated December 9, 2018. -Updated AIM-9 missile procedure (removed IR COOL step) -Updated IRMV & LMAV missile procedures (fuzing added)
  17. This is the real link for my guide http://www.mudspike.com/chucks-guides-dcs-av-8b-harrier-ii/ The link you posted is an old version that Razbam somehow hosted on their site.
  18. From the NATOPS (source page I-2-28) 2.4.2.1 APU Switch. The APU switch is a two-position switch with positions of ON and OFF APU Switch - ON Starts the start cycle of the APU. Switch is electrically held in the ON position and automatically returns to OFF 1 minute after the second generator comes on the line provided the bleed air knob is not in AUG PULL *** "Make your own kneeboard from the Natops" is much easier said than done. Also... I never pretended my introductory guide was anything close to a flight manual or a NATOPS-style manual. It's just to get the ball rolling. Think of it more like hand-written notes and reminders. Some people don't seem to be able to grasp this simple fact and get angry when they expect to see in this document something it's clearly not meant to be.
  19. For the same reason the ground crew doesn't leave every circuit breaker in the aircraft open ;)
  20. I'd say that's a safe bet
  21. No magic involved. I used an existing mission with all static aircraft already placed on the Stennis.
  22. I mentioned that both approaches were theoretically possible, but I have now precised which apprpoach is taught.
