I'm hard at work finishing off the normal maps for our new super duper pooper excretionator! :pilotfly: Don't worry, I haven't forgotten about the MiG-21! She's due for an overhaul, I'm sure most will appreciate! See you guys when I finally make it out of this wishing well.

Sorry guys, the new textures for the glass are for PBR. I'll get a fix soon. Lately we're hard working on the next 'bird' getting ready for ED testing.

Thanks guys :), The cockpit textures are still not PBR shader friendly though. Working between our next project and the MiG-21 the updates for openAlpha will slowly roll in. Just keep in mind, "openAlpha" Since Cobra worked on the cockpit, I'm still thumbing through his work and getting familiar with his settings. Our workflows are different, so it'll take some adjusting on my side.

2.1.xxxx Update 1 - 2017 TBD PBR textures for cockpit gauges' glass implemented. PBR textures for tires implemented. PBR textures for external glass implemented. Fixed default Serbian livery bort numbers. (Only tail numbers should show now, must use 5 digits) Fixed trim adjusting while using a joystick.

2.1.5677 - 2017 May 26 PBR textures for bare metal livery implemented. Changed Navigation lights' texture. Fixed left flap animation. Added navigation support for Normandy (RSBN/PRMG only, no NDBs at the moment). SAU landing mode improvement. FFB stick movement on roll improvement when SAU is activated. Fixed pitched trimming with FFB.

Hi guys, it's 0330 here and I just woke up. My sleep schedule is chaotic this week. I'm trying to at least fix the glass for the cockpit. As you know, Cobra did an excellent job on it, but since I took over, I need to get familiar with his settings. If I don't make it, it'll be in another update.

Dear pilots, As you are aware, the release of Normandy is imminent. This of course is a part of a much bigger affair, related to a new version of Digital Combat Simulator. Thus, we would like to inform you that in accordance to a certain change in graphics engine which involves the introduction of PBR shaders, we were obliged to prepare a completely new set of textures for the MiG-21bis module. PBR or Physically Based Rendering is a model in computer graphics that attempts to render graphics in a fashion that more precisely models the flow of light in the real world. This of course means that there is a small possibility of new bugs to appear, so be aware of that. However, we would like to ask you not to focus on them so much, specifically there is no need to make individual bug reports as we are already aware of most of the bugs and work tirelessly to fix all of them. We also would like to report that soon there will be a new livery template released for the MiG-21bis. Please, be aware that with the new version of the game all the bugs should be reported under 2.1 Bug Section, bugs related to 2.0 version will not be accepted. See you in the skies ! Anyone else having issues with the latest plugin dated April 2017 Apparently after install and starting up Max, I get 4 prompts trying to find the *.dlc / *.dle files within the plugin folder.....even though they are there.

DCS 1.5.6.5199 Update 4 - 2017 May 12 Adjusted timing for SPS-141 flair drop. Fixed random countermeasures not working when button is pushed. Added Chinese localization. Added frontal lock correction for 'rear-aspect only' missiles. Note that the missiles can still acquire frontal lock when the target ir signature becomes strong enough.

DCS 1.5.6.4818 Update 3 - 2017 April 28 Decreased roll rate. Fixed SS Piper: will move with distance only. Fixed IR missile piper not following locked target. Fixed UPK pod piper position by -2 mrads. Fixed ARK far-near switch synchronization with clickable area. Adjusted afterburner sound synchronization with animation. Switched to ED’s custom cockpit solution. Added more ‘21’ mark to weapons to differentiate between LNS’ and ED’s weapon. Added RU localization. Users can create localization for their own language (copy "CoreMods\aircraft\MiG-21BIS\l10n\ru\LC_MESSAGES“, save in appropriate language folder and edit with PoEdit)

Yes, over-write the livery files in the zip file within the texture folder. The file names must match.

If you use 2015-2017, correct.

2010, 2011, 2012, and 2014 are supported by the EDM plugin.

Indeed, just make an empty "drop canopy" edm. Push the visibility key to 100 @ the value of 1. It should slide, without dropping.
