You are wrong with that statement. ED nor Deka is not responsible for what mission makers use in their missions. Everyone have freedom if he wants to use China Asset Packs units or not. Also not everyone plays competive MP missions. Try to think about people which would be limited with their options due to your strict requirements.

@jasonbirder, ED currently every feature/module promotes as availabbe when it's just in testing version, so you can expect same at end of the year.

@Silver_Dragon, you are not getting point... that's fine updates are going to open beta first. Check marketing video: Do you see there any word it's just for testing/open beta release? If someone just plays stable never reads forum and sees that video how could he know? Do you think it would be that big problem for ED to add there somewhere words "just for open beta"?

Ok, let me reword it... they should announce release to version named release not "open beta". Not everyone wants to be ED's honorary tester and open beta can be broken so they cannot even fully enjoy it there.

Yeah, if that's makes people to buy it due that bad assumption it's release to public, than ED should always mentioned it or don't announce it at all until it's released to public. Every newcomer to DCS will be affected by it and it's not good first impression.

@Rudel_chw, still they should advertise more clearly that it's released just for "beta testers".

@BIGNEWY, would be possible to add button in configuration which would cause usb devices to be detected on demand when hotplug is disabled?

I am able to get TrackIR working just by disconnecting and reconnection some other USB device which causes TrackIR to be detected.

@BIGNEWY, 2.5.6.47224 and 2.5.6.45915 seems not to be MP compatible, but netcode change was not mentioned in changelog. Would be possible to add that information in changelogs in future?

I would suspect it relates to DCS web slow speed/unavailability.

@macedk, if you would read whole thread you could notice that when downloading using bittorrent client speed is high, so it's probably caused in dcs_updater.exe torrent client and c0ff is trying to find where the issue is. Btw you did same assumption that it's caused by their "ISP"... I am getting very high torrent speeds on computer in different location...

You should provide video recording or track of your flight. You probably did something wrong what made your gear get stuck.

Opening Module Manager when autorization server is not available blocks UI. It is not possible to interrupt rotation loading screen. It should be cancellable. It was stuck for 5 minutes. Log attached. dcs.zip

No worries. I don't know if that may help, but my connection have problems with udp packets bigger than 1500 bytes.
