  1. Just a note on the distortion... He was viewing premade content designed specifically for the demo... Games on the other hand do very poorly with high FOV... which is the biggest criticisms of pimax, and anyone who has an ultra wide or triple screen monitors knows all to well. Almost every game just fisheye's your FOV.

  4. If it turns out great, how much would you sell a completed one for? I guess we will have to also look into using DCS-BIOS and not just default plug and play control...
  5. Just a heads up, I was going to use encoders for the brightness, but you have to turn the dial about 12 full rotations to go from off to on... potentiometers might work out better.

  7. When inputting manual waypoints, how do i get the navigation line to show up in the HSI like it does when you create the waypoints in the editor?
  8. reason I ask for an amount you are aiming for is... the required items you listed the end user needing are already around $2000 USD (3d printer, router, tools, etc...), or am I reading that incorrectly and you will be providing everything pre-manufactured with some assembly required? are we looking at 1-15K, for already completed parts... or are you planning on just releasing the plans for the user to create everything with their own equipment...

  10. been playing DCS VR for 1.5 years... you'd think i would be used to it by now... but nope still.
  11. yeah, its for spotting stuff on the ground... snap view arent working for that. starting your run and awaiting for that 1.75 seconds to zoom is way to long for me

  13. Snap views work, but they are not useful... they do not zoom in only snap to certain areas of the cockpit

    HUD, clock?

    On the HSI page, select TIMEUFC, then select LTOD on the UFC. Thats how your supposed to change it, but I just turn it off the HUD.
  16. It might be. Its the exact opposite of the On/Off button on the UFC.
  17. Yes, anytime you change anything in the core game files, you will have to reapply after each patch. Thankfully, ED started to create a ".backup01" folder what you can just copy the contents out of and reapply everything.
  18. I have it mapped to my spare TM MDF, its not a press and hold, it will stay on, BUT and this is a big BUT, you must very quickly press and release the button. It is very sensitive.

  20. I searched this forum and was not able to find anything... Is there a lua somewhere that controls the rate in which the VR zoom zooms in because it feels like it takes 1.5 - 2 seconds to completely zoom in. I would like to speed that up.
  21. How do you take the AIM-120 out of Visual Mode? Wags video said its the Cage/Uncage button but that doesn't seem to change it?
  22. Finished 99% of Phase 3.... just need to get the last part of the UFC finished, 4 pot axis for volume 1/2, HUD/UFC brightness which will go on the right side of the UFC.

  24. Simple question, can a multiplayer server define the labels.lua all players use in a match?
