My granddad had a bit of a career as a nco naval aviator during ww2 and as airforce officer (he switched services) after that. The way I see it, I inherited my passion for aviation from him. Much later I started out on those old gems that were the Aces Over series, from there I moved on to Janes and much later Il2 until a certain plane captured my attention and brought me over to this excellent sim.

a couple of maps would be nice; a fall 1944 western europe map (think from around Market-Garden to the Battle of the Bulge) and secondly; A duxford map. For those warbird flyins or something called a virtual Flying Legends...

There is a default bare skin included within the current release of the P51.

BFM=Basic Fighter Maneuvers/Maneuvering.

kind of hard to do when there aren't any p51 squadrons or the p51 module is the odd one out in the existing squadron. flying and fighting together can be fun. But fighting against another human crewed P51? a little too chaotic. And then there's the factor where you starting to long for something a little different (like an fw 190D :music_whistling:) squadrons and servers like virtual aerobatics; need I say more? easier said then done as people will need to build up their skills first. unfortunately its about bit more then just fixing performance issues. Currently you can do 3 things with the p51 module. Aerobatics, ground attack and just plain sightseeing on a map where it doesn't really belong. And with something like an 'real' opponnent missing..... ah who knows, I hope Luthier comes through in the fall..

The Eagle, but its only for the looks currently (I'm lousy at the electronic fighting it seems to require)
