  1. hah, next month i will try to do a fingerlift mod for the HOTAS. so no more time for the harrier then
  2. still needs some polishing , be patient guys, hope to finish this till end of next week
  3. no, distance is quite comfortable i will post new photos tomorrow, there u will see
  4. that looks quite perfect, might i borrow this idea from u? i think i have to add something additional on the top part for stability, might use those two screws there as well. thx for your picture
  5. Outstanding work! especially the front left console with gear lever and jettison knob, man i want to have this thing. Bcause i am making an av8 lever atm , how did u mount your creations to the warthog, i saw those clamps in your first post but how are these mounted to the throttle?
  6. thx, yes just slip it over, when the design is finished i will add ankles on the sides or alter the housing for the best mounting solution. i have some ideas how to fix it there but haven t found the most elegant yet. maybe i ll make it as long as the throttle to look less like an foreign object there.
  7. Here u can find the FILES to download https://www.dropbox.com/sh/yad43diwbneky6c/AAAIou4hiGZnCDbmKaSXijOma?dl=0 i added the Gcode as well but be aware Gcode is always very printer specific i would not recommend to use mine, STL files are included of course all parts are divided into "EVERYONE can print that" parts, so u should have no troubles printing them, NO ELECTRONICS NEEDED most parts do need supports !!! and .. align them intelligent when slicing, i used PLA, for the yellow stripes i had to pause the printer (i do have just 1 extruder)I own a GEEETECH A10 which is quite good for its price. for the spring i used a rollerpen s , u will need some screws, which i got from an old PC (motherboard screws and the smaller ones came from an old harddrive) i am sure u will find some applicable. i removed the FRICTION LEVERs detent which can be done very easily (ty mariner3302) https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=233571 i am not a professional constructor or something like that nor am i experienced in 3d drawing, this was my first more complicated project, i used FUSION360 It`s 100% working as it should, despite of course the 5° steps for the STOL detent, i made holes for 65, 45 and 30°, u can customize the STOL holestrip easily, so just add the holes where u need em. Note adding a hole every 5° most likely will make the strip unstable, then u might have to make the detents nose a little bit smaller. The stopper on the right is adjustable for 82/83°, for moving beyond just push the nozzle lever slightly to the left, like in the real A/C. sound isn t as weird as in the video, maybe an autogain issue for help, check the thread, PM me i hope u enjoy flying DCS like i do, have fun!!! 06.04.2019 CHECK updated files - nozzle_lever.stl - lever_taker.stl (stl was missing) 08.04.2019 CHECK updated files - added an alternative lever_taker, because shapeways refuses to print it that thin (my ultra cheap printer had no problem with it, they might have higher quality standards lol) https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=LT5HG625K52DA&source=url if someone wants to sponsor my next projects filament:music_whistling: __________________ my projects: F14 wing sweep handle https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=237951 AV8B nozzle lever https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=233670 F18C fingerlifts https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=234747
  8. just finished this project, LINK in the POST below FIN Fotos below [ i am currently prototyping a nozzle lever for my warthog and want to share how far i came , and of course would like to read some suggestions regarding improvement here. i am using the friction lever as input, so i do not need any usb board or sensor, and yes i do already have a protoype printed and its working but still needs some refining, and holes for the STOL detent of course. the mechanics bending is already very reduced now and easy to handle in flight. removing the friction levers center detent is still on TO DO just tell me your thoughts about, be kind please ]
  9. many thx for those pictures and explanation, exactly what i need to know/see
  10. i m developing an AV8 nozzle lever mod for the warthog hotas at the moment and plan to make it as non inversive as possible, fully 3d printable for home printers an not requiring electronics. so i plan to use the friction slider on the right side on the hotas. my question, to all that already opened their throttle, this slider has a center detent or something like that, will it be easy to remove this center stop? any ideas? plz
  11. uh1 by oe-xam, i really like it but can t recommend the manufacturer, had several quality issues, first was mounted with invertedd switches, throttle recogniced only 0,half,max. sent it back second one had also issues with the axis which i had to fix myself (colli is hall sensor but throttle/rpm is a poti and this was assembled completly wrong) the sticker on top of the base had a misspelling/writing? so i removed it and the second was sent to a comlpetly wrong address, long waiting time. front part was 3d printed, with a minimum wall thickness, so i reprinted a more robust version for it myself for the price they offer it at the moment i would not even consider buying it with all those quality issues don t take me wrong, as it is now, its 100% reliable and robust, and now i am happy with it and wont miss it, everyone flying a heli in dcs should try a colli, its so intuitiv, but never again from this manufacturer http://oe-xam-simulators.blogspot.com
  12. the case parts were precut, just had to assemble it, u can find lots of configurators with all parts included in the www
  13. man that looks so good  nice work
  14. a friend of mine asked me to do a Heli extension for the warthog posting it here for others, parts are used from other threads/post on this forum print with enough flow and infill for stability!!! https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3440525
  15. raised the seat a bit, so the VKB stick was too low now, had to 3D print an extension, posting the file here to give others the possibility to easily draw a BASE https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3440515
  16. why not, i am sure he will send a finished product. making the files avbl just for the guys that want to personalize it ,
  17. maybe miles wants to make the 3d files available for buyers, so we can modify it or print in our prefered color ?
  18. i do also have a vkb mcg pro, same issue since ED introduced and reverted their input device presets, i reassigned the buttons but its still happening with contactless trigger
  19. sorry, can t see OUTSTANDING improvements
  20. sorry guys, after todays newsletter and already testing the DORA, i am dissapointed? hmmm maybe beyound now. Doras external and internal models got updated? why the hell can t i see that, i m VR user and for me it doesnt look improved, more the opposite, sorry external model got an overhaul, maybe but not visible out of the cockpit but whats still visible,?, the missing flaps indicators, yup when i look at the Dora, and i read EDs statement regarding improvement, and reset price i am getting a little bit angry, despite i of course i am getting the "so called update" for free i hope this is just because the newsletter is wrong and the mentioned changes did n t made it into the 2.5.4 op
  21. looks perfect! do u plan too sell it end user friendly within a plastic housing(sorry if its the wrong word for) or will we have to 3d print/design our own? BR
  22. bump + flaps indication missing
  23. same issue as well
