  2. i mentioned this 2 weeks ago, i do get freezes and stutters when descending towards ground targets in PG, if i manage to climb again those freezes disapear. log is attached, memory usage was about 23GB!!!!!! the rest of the 32GB were on standby too, so 100% used WIN10,i7 4771,32GBRAM, SSD when i last time reported this issue it was forwarded to RAZBAM, because of flying the AV8B, I highly doubt that this has anything to do with the AV8 only, so please can a DEV have a look at? mission length was 74mins unfortunately the track file exceeds the forum MB limit so check the dropbox link https://www.dropbox.com/s/5yomw19dll8lspo/dcsPGsecondstutterslowlevel.zip?dl=0 grass was at 0 trees at 0 maybe this has something to do with textures of the streets/ground/lamp posts ????

  5. i agree, those colors are ridicolous, performance is due to missing speedtrees, those tech came short after release maybe they will implement it later
  6. u are in VR, Oculus ASW is broken with the patch+hotfix, so u will have microstutters with the rift! but i agree, there is a performance issue with PG, stutters and freezes when flying low and near dubai with sams. maybe the line of sight calculation is infringing with all these buildings on PG

  10. same for me, i have 32gigs ram . looks like to be altitude related, completly smooth over Dubai till descending near the ground, happened at Dubai and Dhafra others to test, i do not get a complete freeze, just 1-2sec freezes, if i can recover it gets fluent as normal again. what can this behaviour make happen. is this already reported or analyzed? av8 is completly unusable in combat situations at PG, so a lot are staying away from PG mission server because of that. can a moderator please confirm that this is reported?!
  11. hi , suggest two combine 2 virpil mounts (one inverted)for the GF pro, because of the extension, did that since i use them
  12. the monitor is just for srs or discord and game start, i fly in VR, after a short time i now find fhe mfds blind, for the keyboard i look through the gap near the nose yes, moveable was necessary because i have to be flexible in my job, changing locations
  13. its ok, the collective is not mounted yet, so i need the space for it, thats the reason. the elbow is resting at the flight case, its still comfortable indeed not very realistic, there are some compromises necessary, of course
  14. after years of improvised simming, and due to VR, i decided to built my very first rig. it has to be transportable, and as small as possible but still giving me the feeling of sitting in a cockpit. the result feels good and does deliver those narrow cockpit feeling, AND its easy to transport it to another place, so have a look inside measurements: 140x65x50cm
  15. he is not looking for a real life map! he is doing a real DCS map for accurate mission planning, so tpc or other real life maps wont help keep up the good work , lots of us are awaiting your awesome map FLAPPIE

  18. i am playing DCS since Flanker 1.0 (ok that wasn t dcs, just to say i am in fighter collection sims since then) DCS was growing and got a real push forward with the VR revolution i think, now, with a lot of new players of the younger generation coming into dcs world, multiplayer is growing to a level that makes DCS close to a real battlefield simulation like ED promises with their THEBATTLESIM homepage. Especially Drex's DYNAMIC DCS Server is now exactly what all those daily sim pilots are looking for, flying sim A/C's against human players, learning to bother with real people not dumb AI. Unfortunately, ground troops do cause massive lag, in single and multiplayer for unknown reason, which , i think, stops DCS servers from becoming real battlefields. just a few units moving do kill the experience So, my question, is there a way to avoid these lag, thats always showing up when looking into their direction in game, and or is ED already aware of these issue?
  19. +1 i brought this up a few months ago too, way to candy and saturated to look realistic, i would like to have a "saturation slider available" or more natural colours. especially in VR (rift) its not possible to do this on the device side
  20. had the targets been within a cloud layer, had similar issues with su25s at max bad weather flying in clouds and heavy rain
