There are plenty of advantages to having high end hardware- spotting difference shouldn’t be one. I am against pay to win in any situation, just because you can do it elsewhere doesn’t mean it should be done here. you obviously are mad that throwing money at a problem doesn’t make you better than others. This is a problem with you, not the game.

So then it turns into pay to win. Those who can afford the newest monitor or highest resolution VR have an immense advantage over those with “medium” hardware.

Coming back to this module and had a question. In the campaign it mentions inputting the waypoint elevation data during alignment. Usually I just ignore that but I’m wondering wouldn’t that mess up the alignment? If I set PRE20 for starting alignment will it continue to align to those coordinates if I then switch to the other waypoints in order to edit them? I’m not able to test this myself currently so just wondering if anyone knows.

It seems to be the remnants of MAC. According to Wag’s discord statement they’ve shelved MAC and taken these 3 aircraft from it into regular DCS.

To me, it looks like they are just adding 3 aircraft. All the other FC3 aircraft have been getting updates over time already.

Is this what happened to MAC?

The problem wasn’t reflections in general, it was over exaggerated static reflections. They were horrible. In the F5 I can barely see out the canopy sometimes with all the reflection.

You don’t need to actually do anything in the mission. Just do a cold start mission and let it sit on the ground for a few minutes unpaused.

I think you misunderstand me. Try playing any mission on whichever map it is (eg. Caucuses), just enough so that it has to load the textures. Then after a few minutes of that, then try and edit or create a mission on the same map. For me that worked seemingly because the textures had to be “created” by running a mission.

If you don’t want to learn about anything then you will be limited in what you can do. Most of the time you will either be air to air or air to ground, but not both. If you aren’t happy using the quick missions (I never use instant action) then you will have to learn the basics of the mission editor. Also- CAS - shooting at ground target enemies currently fighting with friendly ground targets CAP - fighting enemy aircraft. that’s about as basic as can be done but the whole point of this game over war thunder is the fun in learning all the stuff that you seem to be saying you don’t want to learn

Have you run a mission on that map recently? I had the editor causing issues yesterday. I ran a quick start mission from the main menu, then I was able to load into the editor. It’s like the map wasn’t able to load from the editor without having previously run.

Like in certain F4’s when they forgot the gun pod.

Yes, but it’s not been supported for a long time. Just causes issues and bugs that no one can figure out. I guess they decided to just disable it to prevent those issues.

I’m afraid I’m gonna avoid buying this map simply for the fail in splitting it up. Nobody wants this unless they are worried about hard drive space. It makes everything needlessly complicated for creators and users.

As a workaround, you can already do this with joystick gremlin.

I tried TAA but it made all aircraft look like they had canards in a dogfight situation. Just couldn’t handle it.

Thanks. I have a similar computer setup and was wondering if the 5600x still had what it took. I’m on a rift S currently. Although I’m still waiting, it looks like this might be my next headset
