This is really messed up. You can't have the proper UH-1H with no weapons without it switching to the civil version.

Re-install World and all Modules you own to your main drive that has windows loaded. When installing the Flaming Cliffs 3 module it requires the first lockon or FC2 to be installed but it only searches for this so having it installed on a secondary drive or main shouldn't be an issue as the files won't be installed to that directory but to Eagle Dynamics\DCS World. And as for the performance issue (stuttering) it's because of the latest patch 1.2.6 and a memory/performance leak so wait for the next update.

1.2.6 is giving us all trouble friend, but it's no reason to ask for a refund. Try running DCS repair via Start > All Programs > Eagle Dynamics, it looks like that one dll file may be faulty. If it still doesn't work try installing the sim to your main drive which has Windows installed (C: ). It may help? If all else fails you can revert back to 1.2.5 (http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=114030) "Updating or Reverting DCS World to the latest build of a Specific Version in the Command Prompt Window Type: DCS_Updater.exe update <version> (ie DCS_Updater.exe update 1.2.5) The DCS Updater Box will open and begin verifying files and downloading the files for the version you specified. Seeing 16 over here. The constant crashing and disconnection from servers since 2.6 is really getting my nerves.

Yup same problem over here, both in SP & MP. It's a problem introduced in V1.2.6 (RAM usage has doubled on my end) so don't fret about it. There's no current fix other than to revert back to V1.2.5 which doesn't have the problem. Things I've tried: Nvidia 320.80 Driver C++ 2010 32bit & 64bit re-install DCS save game file rename Complete re-install of DCS & Modules Installed to Program Files instead of C:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS etc I've given up trying to fix it at this point so if you'd like to try possible fixes your end go ahead but honestly you'll just be wasting your time. :thumbup:

My take on this is the map will be released alongside the Hornet for a separate fee. My question is would ED have any rights to the map if this http://www.altwolf.com/ company is developing it? Or would it be up to altwolf to give/sell the map to Eagle? Otherwise I'm extremely excited for EDGE and Nevada, even if this fly-through was supposedly running with 3 high ends.

Eh I use Steam for CS:GO and talking to a few friends but other than that DCS stays out.

There's bigger and more important things for ED to worry about than fixing a loading screen. Good try anyway.

Wow I'm surprised to see an EWO from SA here on the forums. If you don't mind I have a few questions: Where are you based? How often does the SAAF send you out and how many flight hours do you guys get a month? Are you the EWO of the SAAB Gripen? Will you do a flyby over my house? :D I really wish I saw fighters more often here in SA. They used to fly all the time nearby years ago with Impala's and Cheetah's from Hoedspruit/Makhado but now just silence. Edit: Congrats as well Graves. It's been interesting reading this thread. I wish you tons of luck for the future, just keep us updated when you can.

I agree DCS definitely could do with more recognition. I wish we could get a post about DCS on the front page of reddit. Would generate quite the amount of new players.

Try different Nvidia Drivers you shouldn't be getting that low FPS. Maybe try a re-install of DCS. It's no secret that the game is un-optimized and runs poorly compared to more modern graphics engines, but 20fps is clearly an issue on your side. Luckily ED are working on a new rendering engine. Hope you come right! Edit: Unless you using cluster bombs, then yeah you can expect a MAJOR slow down.

I ticked EDGE & new maps. I don't believe there would be much to share from ED's part on the F/A-18C at the moment since it's probably still in it's early stages. Maybe just a conformation that there will be a new HD Nimitz class carrier along with carrier ops.

Only two players flying A10C's.

Both servers are empty and players are going elsewhere when I usually play now. Before the split they were full. Quite disappointing :(

I got it to work. Works on most major airports only though.

Just bumping this as I'm interested in using the skins as well. Searching the folder comes up with nothing :confused: Edit: Okay did some scrounging around and it seems to be located in C:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Bazar\Terrain\vfstextures\LandTextures.zip

I know it was possible in Lock On. You could even drive jeeps. Not sure about DCS World

I wonder if there's a particular reason for making the AH-1G instead of the current generation AH-1Z Viper. Perhaps it's been made by Belsimtek as a sort of legacy aircraft along with the Huey and a Vietnam map. Unless the systems are far too complicated and classified to be done on a scale as the A10C. I know Eagle Dynamics wouldn't want to release an aircraft with missing/inaccurate systems.

I know it will probably be Belsimtek who will be developing it, but it doesn't change the fact that IMHO it's a complete waste of time and resources. Eagle Dynamics will most likely be developing the Mi-24, since they have more experience in the attack helicopter area with the Black Shark already under their belt. Edit: It's a niche as you said. Unless it's $5 I don't think it will sell more than 50 copies at best.

Wow quite the list of upcoming aircraft. Though I wish they would scrap the Mi-8 (did I hear that right) and spend the time on an AH-64 or AH-1Z.

Some night vision for the F15C would be nice.
