Once the cargo sling load is released and functional would it be possible to create and introduce a Bambi Bucket model? I'm not an expert when it comes to 3D model integration but as long as it's correctly exported as an edm it should be possible?

This is such an odd bug, does anyone have any idea's on what could be causing it? I hope the problem doesn't run too deep. :noexpression:

How's the sling load?

Am I understanding the Open Beta story correctly in that you have to download a completely separate installer from DCS.com? Is there no way to have it done through the updater or a v1.2.7.exe patch installer so you don't have to download the 6GB+ and install the full game again?

They doing it the same way as DCS Su-25 and DCS A-10A. Releasing the FC3 aircraft as standalones with AFM's. Probably just an error. A proper DCS F-15C Eagle probably won't happen. Belsimtek have the F-86 & AH-1G coming in the first half of 2014 so until then they have there hands full, and ED have too much on their plate too.

That's the way the weapons smoke acts in DCS unfortunately.

Does anyone know which file I need to delete to get rid of the P-51 gun smoke? It's probably the cause of the fps issue and most people experience it, same with say the CBU-87/105. Hopefully the smoke file isn't shared with the other aircraft or it's a variable. Edit: It may also be the tracers, or both.

A big change log is always good to see, looking forward to the patch. Just hope it doesn't bring on any serious problems. :)

Thanks for the replies guys. I think for now I'm gonna start with the T-45C and the USS Nimitz carrier. What I'm most interested in though is better terrain mods but it looks like the big overhauls cost cash so I'll have to scrounge around for free terrain mods for individual areas that I'll fly in.
