  1. AFAIK I have never failed with Mavs, neither killed myself :p
  2. No parking brakes but as it has already been said, chocks would be awesome and I'm sure, not difficult to add, I get the A10 rolling by itself when I'm 1/4 on fuel and clear :/
  3. It's not realistic at all, it's never used in dogfight for the simple reason that mavericks aren't designed to make tight turns and avoid countermeasures. Of course, you can use it to smash an heli hovering or moving slowly. But in dogfight that's a no go for me, I won't take the risk of losing a maverick in the blue sky...
  4. It was IL2 Sturmovik 1946 for my part.
  5. Thanks a lot for the update, fingers crossed to get it working.
  6. :clap_2:C'est le moment de dérouiller le HOTAS!! :robot:
  7. Are you sure he has the weapon you're asking for? i.e the Mavericks..
  8. About the performances, DCS World is the thing that matter firstly, the MFDs are eating about 5 FPS maybe, the A10C is awesome, you'll not regret. It's simply a great experience to use all the controls almost like IRL.
  9. Hi, IRCC, you also have to set some wind to get the turbulences working.
  10. You're welcome, you should be good if you're using DCS World 1.2.2.7570. Yes it updates by itself now. I don't have the P51 module installed, so I couldn't say if the loading time is greater, but i guess this is mechanic, the more you have, the more it loads. I'm afraid but I think you just have to wait the next update and see... Regards.
  11. Hi, welcome to DCS, if you have the game just installed, be to sure you have the latest update. Also run the game as admin and it should solve your cursor problem. About the loading time, unfortunately there's not that much to do... just wait :/
  12. This F18 giving fuel must be on fumes after that lol
  13. Oooh toi tu vas voir les hommes en costume débarquer à ta porte! XD Le débat a été fait en anglais et le mot patience est de mise...
  14. Indeed you have to map the "pickle" button and hold it until the missile release. The default key is Spacebar IRCC.
  15. Actually the JTAC has to be contacted, so it will not send the data without a previous call.
  16. DCS doesn't use more than 4GB. So 6 GB is enough actually, the amount doesn't matter, the frequency is more important.
  17. As everybody said, you have to be gentle in your manoeuvers. For me, a joystick is the minimum requirement to get a good control on the plane, there are some good joysticks for only 20$/30$ which are enough to play occasionnally. Also, you will learn a lot of things from the training mission, but it's broken for the moment.
  18. Yes I get your point, I was just focused on its latest sentence.
  19. It looks awesome... I recommend Corsair as memory, about the PSU, as cichlidfan said, if it's a 80plus and modular one, it's all good. Personally I'm really happy with my Antec HCG, Seasonic is fine as well.
  20. I think he means the usual canopy switch (the lever) that you use once parked and for me, it works whilst airborne. By the way, you have to press 3 times Ctrl + E as default.
  21. Hi, did you check that the ejection seat was correctly armed? That's an handle on the right side of the seat, with black & yellow stripes which has to be pushed down. The canopy switch has no security indeed, it's up to the pilot to not use it when he doesn't have to. About the vapor trails, that's a weird issue, I don't know much about that but you should see it when there's ambient humidity and under 4Gs at least.
  22. These guys are all my favorites!
  23. Yes I think if you want to save your flight hours, you can edit the lua... but it would be difficult to count each killed unit.
  24. When I read the first post, I think about a non activated product key...
