  4. Have you tried using this PDF? http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1998619&postcount=7 I think I even already posted it in here.... Helmet material should be pilot_L39_helmet and all the textures are in \CoreMods\aircraft\L-39\Textures\L-39_C.zip

  7. Alright, the last one of my first four is more or less done. I'll release them hopefully sometime tommorow. I still need to do some minor corrections, check for errors, prepare the upload and also decide, if I'm going to include cockpit textures and such, as it's unfortunately broken. :mad:

Yes, the wedge always faces the front with the white part facing outwards on wings (although this is not an air force plane with official insignia, but still...why would they make them incorrect). What a lovely paint though! It's a L-39ZA, so when that comes out, I might redo it, if you (or nobody else) decide not to. :)
  9. Derelor already uploaded an updated manual in post #24 where this mistake is already corrected, as well as other ones reported before.
  10. Nice skin, make sure to update it for ZA when it comes out! Good job :) Although it could use more authentic labels and red/white stripes on pitot tubes and gear/flap indicators. Cockpit textures are unrelated to aircraft skin. This is already reported as a bug.
  11. That chopper is absolutely mental. I saw it flying a display last month (German) and my heart was stopping at times seeing what he was doing with it. And the Red Bull's demo is even crazier. It will be great to have this in DCS.
  12. Not enough space in the title. Aircraft textures are being displayed incorectly when user made skin with textures other than the ones already present in the description.lua by default is flying in the mission with the aircraft of the same type, but different skin. This is all in singleplayer. I'll explain. - First attachment shows my L-39 Skin. Entries for two cockpit textures were added. Everything's correct. - Second attachment shows how the skin suddenly looks when another L-39 with different skin is present in the mission. AI/player controlled doesn't matter. And the problem also appears when you exit the mission and change the skin (even if the aircraft is alone). It works if you exit the DCS. - Third and fourth attachment with F-15's is the same situation. When user created skin with custom textured cockpit and seat is flying alone, everything's ok. As soon as F-15 with default skin is present in the mission, textures are replaced with default ones. I cannot really pinpoint the problem any more precisely though. Sometimes it's the aircraft with the custom textures that gets corrupted, sometimes the one with default skin. I tried adding even more L-39's into mission, all with different skins and even those pilot textures and tanks got switched with default ones suddenly. It's a mess. There has to be some problem with how DCS loads the textures and reads the lua. No other mods are running, no track for this is relevant, it's settings independent, therefore I don't think it's linked specifically to my system only.

  17. It's a bug and it's already reported. As far as KM-8 goes (that big round thing in the back), you can change it by adding L39-CPT-INSTR-03 texture (L39-INSTR-03 material name). Aaaaand I also already uploaded the english MIP textures 9 posts above yours :music_whistling: Although I forgot about that damn km8

  19. I haven't found any workaround for that model reloading. There are more things broken with the viewer. Wireframe view for example, which is quite annoying, but it's beta... If you want to remove the numbers, just look into lua and find the lines with DECAL parameter and then just use "empty" as texture name. Simple as that. For pilot, you have to work with what you have (and you can read the lines in there as well)
  20. Resolution of cockpit displays has nothing to do with texture resolution in cockpit. It's literally what it says it is - resolution of DISPLAYS. That is mainly your TGP and MAV image in A-10C. If you get textures blurred like in the first post, you have to set your "textures" setting to high.
  21. +1, would be a nice thing to have, considering this is used by the country of origin of this aircraft. Leatherneck is apparently doing four-slot numbers now, so why shouldn't ED. :)
