L-39C/ZA Albatros Czech Cockpit Mod Description Cockpit texture mod for DCS:L-39C and L-39ZA Albatros featuring Czech language as well as some improvements of the texture appearance. Some elements remain untranslated where the original Cyrillic script is present in the actual cockpit. Created in compliance with T.O. 1T-L39C-1 Czech flight manual, minor details may vary. The mod will be updated in case of any changes made to the texture layout by ED. Installation The mod is fully JSGME compatible. In case you're not using JSGME, follow the folder structure inside the archive and install the files manually. Remember to switch the cockpit language to "Czech" in the options menu, under "Special" tab. Download link Download from Google Drive (108MB) Latest version is 1.3 This modification is freeware. Based on original work done by Eagle Dynamics. Please don't rehost the files. Any modifications without permission are forbidden unless it's for personal use and modified files are not going to be distributed in any way. I have no responsibility for the damage caused by using this mod or for its misuse.

Thanks derelor. I want to expand on that actually, I hope it can be here under one report... Same thing as reported seems to be happening in back seat but only on the part that says "50" and only the right ring. And two switches on that panel in the back seat are missing the texture completely.

No, If I remember correctly, Wags said they might do it down the line but there's no ETA (and it's certainly not a confirmation that it will be done). It would be nice though.

Those number rings on the RKL-41 control panel are using russian textures even when the cockpit language is set to english. I attached a screenshot where the whole L39-CPT-PANEL-01_1_ENG is painted green. You can see that the rings are still textured even though they should be green as well. That's because they're linked to the original russian textures and not the localised english ones.

When using two smoke pods (or creating contrails on multi-engine aircraft), one smoke trail does not occlude the other one. It usually looks that way only from the one side though, probably linked to the sun position. Bug remains on various settings and I saw it on other screenshots as well so it shouldn't be related just to my system. Screenshot attached:

Everyone who would like to paint something more than once just to try it, and has Photoshop, should use Nvidia Texture Tools for Adobe Photoshop instead of dxtbmp. ;)

When the simulation is paused and you enter the ingame menu (with ESC key), paused state is removed after exiting the menu and the simulation resumes. Happens with "resume" button or another ESC press. Clicking the X button works fine.

As stated in the title. All the cockpit textures are missing mipmaps and therefore causing an ugly aliasing at normal zoom levels. It's hard to read. No screenshot/specs/track needed, this is well known phenomenon in computer graphics with a simple solution (= generate mipmap levels) :) Relevant discussion is here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=147960 and the second post even got screenshots, although of different aircraft (but with the same problem) . . . edit.

There's a link in the second post. This negative effect might be less pronounced with the use of higher resolutions like 4K (either native or as SSAA). Edit: As this is a general discussion, I posted it now in the bugs section.

EVERYBODY has this issue as this is caused by missing mipmaps and only that. Everybody has the same textures. And yes, adding mipmaps is "easy", I'm creating a cockpit texture mod as we speak, but it's still an issue as this is something that needs to be there by default. ;)

+1 I noticed the same issue in some other cockpits while some are just fine. I even complained about it when Sabre came out. A-10C is fine, FC3 birds too, except F-15C. I don't know about the rest as I don't have them. Aliasing galore.
