  1. First post of this thread, see attachments.
  2. Because it's easy to take 15 old textures and make 15 new and better textures, as they get distributed all over the map automatically. From what we saw and from Wags mentioning the size (I think he said 25GB so far somewhere, not searching for that quote now), Nevada will feature terrain with satellite imagery as textures (or maybe a combination of sat. and preset textures?). That's kinda more complicated to mod.
  3. Use the slider up there with Arg# textbox where you put the number of animation you need to tweak (see attached pdf). There's also a button for playing all at once and animation player somewhere in the menu. To change a texture, go view->dialogs->show liveries dialogs, assuming the model you're painting has entry in default liveries folder (DCS World\Bazar\Liveries). If it does not (like C-101, Mig-21...), you have to put the textures in TempTextures folder in DCS World\Bazar\ Draw arguments for aircrafts 1.1.pdf
  4. BUMP. Is this even logged as bug? I know it's a minor thing but it's also reported 6 months ago.
  5. No difference ;) http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/shop/modules/f-15c_dcs_world/
  6. 16÷9=1.777777778 ;) It's the same thing. Even if you select 16:9 manually, it'll still revert to 1.7.
  7. I don't even think there's a newer version than 2.6.0.157. It works just fine ;) Also, there's nothing to screw up, really. You just put your mods to specific folder and then JSGME move them for you to appropriate places, when you tell it so. It doesn't really overwrite anything. If you follow the guide, you're good.
  8. Photos: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1244670&postcount=6 But I have no idea why is it like that and if it's on every A-10, maybe snoopy will see this and comment.
  9. Intensity is determined by alpha, you can change that easily by yourself. I actually made my mod less yellow.
  10. Yes, you need to run it via batch file. Open notepad, type: bin\ModelViewer.exe save as modelviewer.bat to your DCS install folder and run.
  11. How do you even accidentally... well I guess it doesn't matter now :D Looks nice so far. 4003 numbers are too close to eachother, maybe just align them against background photo shot from the side
  12. You'll know where to put it if you just follow the folder structure it's in. Then open your DCS World installation folder and then it goes to \Mods\aircraft....and so on. You can just drop the mods folder to your DCS install and confirm overwrite, but I would recommend backing up your original textures first. Also, his install is JSGME ready. If you're using mods, you should be using JSGME. Here's how.
  13. Not every object and tree on the map is unique.
  14. He didn't. Wags had interview in PCPilot may/june issue and said nothing about release date there. What he did say was "we're projecting between march and june" 3 months ago and also "We hope to release DCS World 2 in the first half of 2015" as it stands in the first post of this thread.
  15. It's beyond me how you can make such conclusions from 2 months old videos of some guy explaing stuff about textures and objects... :noexpression:
  16. It's up to you. I think it's mostly useless considering you'll be clicking on switches in cockpit, using HOTAS and then there will be only a handful of keyboard commands left. If you want to print something, then this. This is good as well. Maybe put it in your smartphone/tablet. Having a device with charts/checklists etc. is way better than printing six million pages or messing with kneeboard ingame.
  17. Thanks Sith, this was surely fun scheme to make. :) It's a shame it's not flyable yet because it almost feel like a waste putting so much work into an AI plane. I even redrawn the vents under the nose to match the grills used on CF-18 among other things. Hopefully soon...
  18. RCAF CF-18 Demostration Team scheme for season 2015, Battle of Britain, 188761 Download: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/1412125/ Enjoy.
  19. You're welcome, have fun ;) While you're at it, check how your 4 in 4003 looks ;) Beauty lies in the details.
  20. Yeah, looks super useful, way better than messing with F keys. Too bad I can't use it because of no voice recognition support on my Windows... screw you Microsoft!
  21. Here you go. Not pixel perfect, but should be close enough.
  22. Základna taktického letectva Čáslav. You have "taktichéko lectecva" which is nonsense ;) And you also used wrong lion, the one you posted is much different from the one I posted on that sticker and matching the one on the Mig.
  23. Soon, probably June. Summer is coming ;)
