I remember YEARS ago, there was a B-17 simulation, albeit with primitive graphics.
You could be a bombardier with the norden bombsight, co-pilot, pilot, gunner..
Would be amazing to have something like this in DCS.
Recently updated to STABLE version 2.5.5.41371
Internal sound is now OK, but from the outside,
the MIG 21 STILL sounds like a Boeing 787... Whisper quiet...
And yes, at any sound level / setting.
Well, at least in the JF-17 module shop page is clearly stated:
You need to have the "Open Beta" version DCS World 2.5 installed on your PC for this product.
But in the DCS: WWII Assets Pack
It is stated, and I quote:
You only need to have the "Stable" version DCS World 2.5 installed on your PC.
???
Well, that's just great...
NOWHERE is mentioned that this update to the World War II Assets Pack
will not work in the latest STABLE VERSION 2.5.5.41371!!!
I even bought it again, uninstalled, installed again, no JU-88 or the other stuff there.
VERY disappointing.

What has "it was years before 1.5 and 2.0 got merged" to do with this?
As far as I remember it has never taken so long for the release version to be updated...
Hello ED, it's been almost 4 months since the last stable update...
On the 12 of April a small Hotfix-Patch came updating to 2.5.5.41371,
not an update to 2.6 stable....

Well, Thanks!
And could you please include a Description.lua file?
Why did you make this template 16 bit?
The files are huge and take quite a lot of time to save, even with Photoshop
CS 2020 and my rig.....
ALL other DCS Templates are 8 bit....
Hi ED, A question....
Why did you make this template 16 bit?
The files are huge and take quite a lot of time to save, even with Photoshop
CS 2020 and my rig.....
I have run some tests and I find no difference converting it to
8 bit and then saving as DDS......
