A-10C ist ne gute wahl gewesen. vorallem wenn man auf ground attack steht. ich selbst fliege sie ab und an auch mal. meist in letzter zeit eher apache oder hornet und hoffentlich bald die F-15E, aber A-10C war DAS modul was mich am längsten beschäftigt hat, wenn nicht zuletzt auch durch den fakt das es lange das einzige war neben dem Ka-50

naja soviel billiger waren und sind die Lebenshaltungskosten im Osten auch nicht, ich weiss auch nicht wo dieser Irrglaube herkommt, aber hey die Lebenshaltungskosten haben sich angepasst aber nicht die Gehälter^^

Mal abgesehen von der Avionik und der Problemzonen der MiG-29......sie sieht halt einfach besser aus wie der Eurofighter und hat einfach mehr flair/charakter

außerdem haben die entwickler der C130 bestätigt das es KEIN teaser war für die C130

Heatblur hat übrigens auch in einem PodCast mal erwähnt das sie am liebsten genau das mit ihren Modulen machen würden. Allerdings sahen sie sich zwecks EuFi, Phantom und Intruder dazu "gezwungen" diese an zukündigen da die "Katze aus dem Sack war" oder es bzgl Truegrit und Eufi Funkstille zuviele Spekulationen gab die unschön waren.

Performance issue if Near or crossing jet wash is anyone else have performance issues in that reagard? seems like it slows down /stutters if i cross near or through a jet wash of another plane

yeah, but i get your point. as i saied it is probably a cost factor in reallife that older jets are upgraded.

the F-16C entered service in the mid 80s cold war was still going at this point and i did not mention the C i mentioned the F-16 in general. i could also have used the A-4 or F-4 instead of the F-16 or F-15

yeah why upgrading a cold war fighter like the F-16 or F-15 and fit it with modern tech? on a more serious note: -if the base fighter is good or good enough why not? could also be a cost factor. i think it costs less to upgrade a existing fighter force. (keep in mind: new fighter, new infrastructure and training of the whole tech personel & Pilots)

ist abhängig vom landegewicht. bevor irgentwas an aussenlasten weg geschmissen wird, wird eher sprit abgelassen um das landegewicht zuerreichen, wenn nötig. ist bei trägerlandungen eher ein thema denke ich es wäre einfach ressourcen verschwendung immer die außentanks weg zu werfen.
