  1. if one would direct suggestions of this nature at the people funding the servers, then the DCS server-management team (or the single person) could easily feel deceived, and that should be avoided at any cost (for as long as possible).
  2. yes, obviously already doing that. Thanks for that great advice..... They may be, but again, it comes down to whether the banned player ruined gameplay or did not behave in ingame chat or on SRS, otherwise, a ban is not justified. And no, I'm only banned on a single server. Or you go realize that that friend was also banned unjustified. Yes ofc. I am butthurt about this major BS, anyone banned from BF for the reason that I was would be butthurt AF, don't you dare deny it, Mastro Yes, but not without the addition of "but first, analyze the evidence regarding the incident" You and me never talked to each other and didn't fly with each other, so you don't know me, I don't know you.
  3. Also, the cockpit-shake at already below 600 kph is insane, is there any source for that and for that the head would also shake that much? Has anyone already checked whether in VR, the head/HUD also shakes that much as the cockpit, or is this the same bug that the F-15C is affected by?
  4. Disagree, as most servers are crowdfunded by its players and as serious & loyal players paid a whopping amount of money for their own modules aswell. Every player should be treated equally, squadron-players of specific squadrons should not be prioritized over squadron players of newer or smaller squadrons (it sadly seems to be a growing trend in the DCS multiplayer community...). Could not agree more, for those players who got banned from multiple servers (not me).
  5. Currently, server-admins of very popular servers have way too much power and can ban anyone they don't like, as they don't need to worry about enough players joining their server everyday... Idea for a great system: a server-admin issues a ban, the ban-data is then sent to ED server and added to a database (server-name/IP and player-ID). The DCS server-admin (or players) then have 6 hours to submit proof/evidence material to ED (material that must proof that at least one player was negatively affected). If nothing is submitted, the ban is automatically reverted.
  6. .trk in this .zip. StrelaLockWontStop.zip Even on teamswitch and slot-switch, Lock-tone won't stop.
  7. Ok. It's just that for spotting that super low angle launch, the RIO would have to lean very very far to the left.
  8. Ooooh okay How do you know where they took the sound from, in that mod? Exactly what I thought!!!
  9. aaah okay yes, please also add a note to the team to only focus on the first and last view seconds of the video then, where I don't move. Thank you. And did you inform the team that in that mission, there is 0 wind and 0 turbulence in the server?
  10. The engine tone is fluctuating in volume the entire time, which I would assume would be caused by wind/turbulences. I sent you an audio-file via discord of what exacly I meant.
  11. Ok. Please ask your SMEs (real Harrier technicians/Pegasus-engine-engineers and pilots please, if possible) if even at 0 wind+0 turbulence (which the real pilots maybe never flew in?) if such engine-oscillations would even occur (at 0 wind+0 turbulence) and then if they would also be audible in the cockpit. To my physics-knowledge (and real-life experience of acoustics of laminar air-flow), it would not occur (and thus not be audible) if the weather in the DCS mission is set to 0 wind and 0 turbulence.
  12. And that would then hopefully also increase the rate of multicrewed F-14s on PvP servers
  13. about the fluctuating noise only!! Ah true, so is there a way currently of disabling all cockpit-switches-sounds? Source please (about this in mig21) Negative, in Hornet, it apparently is the generator which causes that crazy-annoying continuous non-fluctuating sound (according to some users. I never ever saw an official ED statement about that Hornet cockpit-sound iirc.....) doesn't matter if there is 0 wind on the server... the air would be streaming into the engine in a laminar flow afaik... And one could wonder whether Razbam tries to make such sound just more dynamic to make it more "interesting" to potential customers, instead of making it as realistic as possible for example there is not any such fluctuation audible here: https://youtu.be/cTZUFKCmkAs?t=19
  14. Well, Heatblur? Please reply/post a statement within the next 2 weeks please. Ok, more time then, within the next 3 months please.
  15. @Cobra847 well?
  16. Why would this be intended @BIGNEWY ? Some servers use a system where enemy players are marked on the F10 map (if spotted by AWACS), in those cases, rapid switching between F1 and F10 views occurs often. And even IF this would be intended, the label button in the top bar in F10 is still pressed when switching... has been the case since march 2020, just fyi.
  17. wow, over 4 years later and still happening..
  18. Yes, I tried to indicate that the audio-spectrum is wildly fluctuating with this new harrier engine sound, sorry.
  19. Hopefully tagging @xcomhere will make him notice & read your post (and maybe my previous 2 posts here aswell. I just edited the previous one, now it is even more polite.).
  20. fixed, added video to demonstrate.
  21. Why would the engine make sounds as if strong wind-turbulences are causing sound-waves to change directions? (or what else is happening here that we hear this? What is the source for this sound, a real Harrier pilot?) (no wind: )
  22. negative, could not even beat level 10 xD did anyone get past 10 ?
  23. Please patch the game to feature a pause-key. "P" for example, or "pause" key. (for alt-tabbing to other applications)
  24. We'll see... I doubt it's a guaranteed "802 will also be (more or less automatically) working again as soon as the SLAM-ER works"....
