  1. you missed the 33 page thread of this or just want to post ur magic idea b/c ? when developing the f18 wags had posted a vote what should we work on, so they do listen, having a business model seems kinda outlandish.
  2. they are presuming ed will get more money, and in return we would get faster updates progress towards the game. i just don't see how anyone would want this without actual numbers... doing a vote is pointless if net/profit is less then the model they are doing now. you'd think someone would post some actual facts. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  3. no idea, sorry. maybe try a multiplayer server that has redfor using 18's and joining their teamspeak/discord they can advise on how to get it working.
  4. it has been addressed already. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=258499
  5. "..as it stops some stutters in game and also will allow the game to close instead of waiting."
  6. i would recommend not doing this and just turning them off, as it stops some stutters in game and also will allow the game to close instead of waiting. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=208832

    April Fools!

sucks we can't say anything to people that complain, as normal users will be banned. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=268185
  8. [quote=zaelu;4260226 THE ENTIRE GAME LOOKS LIKE A SERVICE RATHER THAN A FINISHED PRODUCT (please prove this statement wrong!) So why the contortion? Why hiding behind our shadow? My last purchases made me regret spending my money on them. I-16 (aka gear simulator) and YAK52 (aka Early Abandonment) made me basically not to even consider buying other good modules (such as F14, F18 and F16 which I tested and they are great but... no). Would I had payed a 10€ subscription? Most likely. That means 120€ for ED. I am a mediocre DCS player. I am probably in the sweet spot of market niche of ED. ED failing to take 120€ in a year from me is their failure not mine. you proved yourself wrong.
  9. the best guide you can follow and shows how to will be wags videos. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=194412&page=19
  10. Glad you won't listen and still only believe what you think the game is. ED are listening and welcome ur suggestion but the fact remains your incorrect and not sure what part you don't really understand. "We operate two versions of DCS World, the Open Beta version and the Release version. Because DCS World is a "living" project that changes daily, it's possible for a project-wide bug to work itself in and make the game unplayable for all. To prevent this and add a level of protection, we adopted Open Beta and Release versions." https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/world/ Read for yourself if your not willing to listen to others i guess.
  11. Open beta is not for 100% stable release, if you encounter a bug after a open beta release please post a track and explain what the issue is. the quicker you understand this the less people have to explain what the purpose of a open beta is for.
  12. all missiles act the same in dcs. Semi active need a STT lock until impact. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AIM-7_Sparrow#Principle_of_guidance Principle of guidance The launching aircraft will illuminate the target with its radar. In radars of the 1950s these were single target tracking devices using a nutating horn as part of the antenna. This caused the beam to be swept in a small cone. Signal processing would be applied to determine the direction of maximum illumination and so develop a signal to steer the antenna toward the target. The missile detects the reflected signal from the target with a high gain antenna in a similar fashion and steers the entire missile toward closure with the target. The missile guidance also samples a portion of the illuminating signal via rearward pointing waveguides. The comparison of these two signals enabled logic circuits to determine the true target reflection signal, even if the target were to eject radar-reflecting chaff. active ones can be fire and forget. How you choose to implement this can be in a STT mode, tws or bore. ir can be fire and forget. stt, tws or bore.
  13. Nothing wrong with showing support. https://www.google.com/search?q=support+definition&oq=support+def&aqs=chrome.0.0j69i57j0l6.3951j1j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
  14. you have that backwards.
  15. I do not understand why you think any model is better than the other w/out actual numbers to decided. good thing none of you are a CFO.
  16. yes, after any update ur missions may not work again.
  17. drop or you have 30 fps? sounds normal if just dropping. no game is perfect. also what res just 1080p ?
  18. Too many factors to give you any advice, there could just be multiplayer stutters that your not going to fix w/ any hardware. But all those setting you did change, priority, cores etc i would of not done and maybe look at other things.. windows settings etc.
  19. Sure, Maybe its possible to have an enrolment type closed beta that would still be open to all to apply but to have a limited number to be defined by ED so that they would have the right numbers and people making the right reports. This would cut down on the amount of work they must spend hacking through forum posts trying to extract issues from those that are just moaning. its called Open Beta. case closed johnson.
  20. No idea on what ED are doing. but i can presume that they will fix what is broken by being reported or they already know they going to break certain things and still need to figure out how to resolve them. and yes sorry about all the hard work you guys have done; i just do not think that fixing old stuff is not always the correct answer if a new version of implementing things maybe better.
  21. sad. in 1 year this patch will mean nothing, as a new one a yr later will need bug fixes for new features etc. maybe u'll understand after you keep writing these pointless empty threats.
