new pc setup, and just reinstalled dcs. f14, 18 had to remap a few buttons, but nothing like how the harrier is w/ the old "need your keybindings save..". just a fyi if you feel like doing a fresh install of dcs, it was really nice to be able to just jump into the 18 and just see things working like the old a10c w/ warthog.

from the screen shot you can see its a unknown contact you have L&S. You are not in STT, your looking out 40NM. you should only be 10. Not sure what your radar settings are as your in the data page. when firing from like that your just shooting mad dog missiles. hope this helps; i'd re watch those videos still alot your missing. fyi as i see this asked a lot "how do i unlock a target?" to unlock a L&S track hit the reset. undesignate "unlock" is for STT targets.

check full screen also in game w/ right alt + enter. maybe something is switching on full screen settings?

Strange. I did the same thing. Found it to be only that mission causing a issue with the targeting pod. Could not set area or point track mode.

both, gfx card and processor would be a good choice. i find dcs likes it above 4ghz with higher settings.

in manual mode, you select the target on the lower radar, fire. you will see a timer on the right hand side, select the next target w/ the circle thingy on the lower radar, fire. you will now see the 2nd timer on the that contact. Subscribe and follow for more tips in tricks.

On this mission you can hear real life radio transmissions. I tried turning off both comm's. Where is it coming from? I have a .ogg file that can be turned on using the squelch, which needs replaced after each update, https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/111154/ (i have not updated my sound files for awhile, and this is a completely different radio transmission. Is it possible we can get the sound file to use? UPDATE: Replayed mission. Those are not radio transmissions, but actual scripts? or great voice acting in game.. is there any other missions like this??

im presuming your using a mod on your f18. i would try w/out mods. You don't have to wait 8mins to turn on HMD, just turn the HMD knob when engines are on.

im confused by some of these complaints. I'm presuming HB made the ability to carry all of those bombs b/c the f14 has stations available, what people do w/ those load outs is completely up to the person when they open the menu in game. Or am i missing something?
