Anything with an arrestor hook, carrier workable and a working carrier. I'd like to see an attack-helicopter with the sensor pod above the rotors. In 2.0 with the hardened trees, this would be great---pop up, fire, pop back down. Not a module : (I would like to see a much better Multiplayer offering similar to what the WWII sim Aces High (http://www.hitechcreations.com) has had for years. MP here is a bit lean.)

Hi, I use a lot of Devrim's mods using JSGME. Devrim uses Readme files to show the process necessary for installation. Download a few of his files to see how he does the process to get a feel for it. For a couple of years I made my mods long-hand before discovering JSGME. I am age 64. Been with DCS (edited) since 2011. I still have my modded directory of 1.2.16 ; I have so much work in my modded directory I hated to part with it. I have noticed my mental decline last couple years as I am getting older. The program files are just glorified outline formats like learning the English reading language, just got to be careful with what goes where. The only mod of Devrim's I have not using the JSGME format is his Su-27 all English Gray cockpit for FC3, this I did long-hand, if I can figure it out, anybody can. His Read-Me describes the process. Me too, last few nights, week or so, currently this concerns for me Su-27 in FC3. I never took the time to learn the Su-27, doing the tutorials lately. Made custom views of HDD (MFD), HSI, right side radar indicator with designated G-keys of my Logitech keyboard. Custom snap views have always worked OK in the past. My older snap views concerning Ka-50, Warthog, etc. are fine, but I have not reset them. I am using the latest upgrade in 1.5.3 Searching the forums for a fix, saw this entry. Nice to know it is not just me. Wonder what changed? Has this been reported as a possible bug?

(Sorry, referring to old post a few pages back, #187.) I was checking this IP# : 195.2.253.172 as a set aside web exclusion in my MalwareBytes Pro. I did not remember why I set this number aside. My search brought me to this page. Lately, last several downloads have gone very smooth using the direct torrenting sites download, very quickly with no negative issues at all. I usually always download early wee hours in NY State, USA. Take care.

Hi, I have FC3. Installation went easy once I realized all I had to do was drag and drop the SU-27S-CPT-TEXTURES folder from Devrim's mod manually into the Textures folder. If necessary later, it is easy to undo. Works nicely in both 1.5 Caucasus and 2.0 Nevada. I always use JSGME the last couple years for all my other mods, but in this unique case that is not the way to go, for me. After 5 years in the game have decided to learn the Su-27 and later the Mig-29. Thanks for the English mod. (Is there a mod around translating the warning lights to English in the Mig-29? )

Still cannot get access to their Forums, Downloads, or Chat. I contacted their Admin@ guys and sent a PM to Revvin. The CH-Hangar Facebook page also hints at a problem. I have not gotten a reply by anybody except StandingCow above. I thought it might be on my end. I dropped my firewall for a minute to log-on and still a no-go. I will contact 531-Ghost and see if he can help.

If I am on and not still on the tarmac or FARP, I am headed or am at the current way point. Get on the 104ths TeamSpeak. I'm usually on with the ground pounders. I don't talk much and if there is too much chatter I turn the mike's sound off, but I am there. Too much talk distracts me, can't think, I only talk as to supporting the mission but I don't use the Brevity acronym-speak talky language. I'm not the one to learn from, but I'll show you what I know. I usually fly by myself, pretty much self-taught. Been flying Shark since 2011. Get TeamSpeak 3 if you can afford it. I think the Ka-50 guys are loner types like me. Also, I may be on TS3 with the air guys to get their real-time intelligence. See Message #8, edited it, added url to the S-77th. Get in Ka-50 spot 1 = squad leader. Make sure that rotary dial 1 to 4 identity thingy on the right side console is on. ABRIS will show where we are per 4-man squad, unless somebody turns theirs off. The ABRIS map can be zoomed way out or way in. 104th's server is big on >>> NO_CHEATING, is why you don't see others in F10 and also TacView only records you. Somehow TacView can be implemented in real-time to see everybody---104th negated that real quick. It is rare, but it does happen, enemy air will find the ground pounders waypoint area and come visiting. Would be nice to get friendly, allied air to cover us or at least we call out to them that we have enemy company over here.

(re: Message #1) I mostly just play on the 104th's server in 1.5 and 99th in 2.0 sim-flying the Ka-50. I usually play the 104th's Red side as the ground targets last longer due to low number of guys playing Red. In the past I played on the 159th's server, not lately. and Used to play on Devilman's old S-77th out of Australia (excuse me, Tasmania) >>> couple servers are up lately renamed - MD-SIM.COM Cooper is the guy to look up flying the Ka-50 with the S-77th, that guy is the best Shark jock I've seen on DCS. (re: Message #1) NICE_MOD!! Version 2.0.6 Your default setup as is, works great for me with the Ka-50. Just tried it on a night mission in MP on the 104th's server. I also run JSGME other mods including ReShade 0.19.2 Public Beta with SweetFX 2.0 Beta 8 and Toby's Low and Slow Texture Pack with running BS2. I have my own separate zoom view that works independently of the NVG, but also works in conjunction with the NVG. Thanks for the effort. Best I have seen with using the NVG.

Settled for 314.22 WHQL , moved back a little bit. At least I can play the game on the 104th server and FPS is not too bad with my current setup in 1.5 and 2.0 . Thanks for the tips, guys.

Referring to: (Ka-50 Flight Manual (.pdf) , page 6-20) When the laser range finder / laser designator mode toggle is set to the laser designator position, what is the function now supposed to be? (Location is immediately below the HSI.) Can the Ka-50 laser a target for incoming laser guided bombs from other aircraft for other aircraft? Ordinance mentioned to be used in this mode are: Kh-25ML, Kh-29L or laser bombs. I have never moved this switch from its default position of laser range finder position and I use the 9A4172 Vikhr missiles with the laser. Thanks for any help.

Try landing on a moving train on the Baltic area map in 1.5. Have not tried it yet in 2.0, they also have moving Greyhound buses and semi tractor trailers. I've been sim-flying the Ka-50 about 5 years and am just getting so I'm fairly good with it. I still need fine tuning.

Yeah, I think that may be what's going on, too. I retrograded currently to 358.887 , the lowest Nvidia GeForce recommended on Win 7, 64-bit. My Asus Geforce GTX 680 (4GB vram) was ballpark $500 new for a single card, 3 or 4 years ago and the price has not moved very much from that when I looked via Google today. Thanks

I have a Samsung SSD 850 Pro 512 GB to add to my 1 TB RAID hybrid SATA hard drive setup. Once installed, what is the how-to process of moving my DCSW directory? Do I just drag and drop using my mouse arrow? Figure I'll install this first and test it out as to game performance in MP before adding a new GPU. Thanks

Experimented last night pushing my GTX 680. My GPU fan was on maximum manual setting and it was running too hot, just about to limit and game froze up---104th Phoenix MP. I will experiment tonight manually upping my case fans' rpm and see if I can improve the cooling. If not, I'll go get a Nvidia GTX 970 single card. Thanks for the replies and ideas.

You are right, this guy did, see last message, a GTX 980 Ti . Nvidia is recommended for the Alienware Aurora-R3 http://en.community.dell.com/owners-club/alienware/f/3746/t/19578368 I will try the Nvidia Geforce GTX 970 from BestBuy at $379 single card before taxes. The 980 Ti is a bit expensive. Next step after this upgrade wii be a new homebuilt. I will wait for the 1.5 / 2.0 merge and the newbie platform coming out and see what you guys are building then. DCS World is the only game / sim I play. Though, some of the guys to the Alienware forums, techie guys like this DCS forum, keep the tower case, gut it out and rebuild it with upgraded parts.

(re: Message #1) I still have my original CH setup of Fighterstick, Pro Throttle, and Pro Pedals purchased July 2010. Currently I have no complaints. I had a buddy that when his CH gear wore out, he purchased a new identical replacement and sent his worn out one back for repair. Unless you just want to try something else, or CH Products no longer has a repair service, why not do this? My buddy had done this a few times over the years.
