You may have luck getting a new part from thrustmaster. Some people have been able to get them to send out the part, but some have been told they don't have them any more, it may just be if they have spares in stock at the time. Good luck, nothing worse than having an out of action joystick, I picked up a cheap second hand saitek that sits in the cupboard waiting for just such an emergency.

If they can do an extensive power line network, I guess a couple of rail lines (only 3d at close LOD) won't make too much of a difference.

Have you tried renaming your dcs folder in saved games?

That is a level of organisation and dedication I just could never manage, I just didn't rep anyone for a couple of years. I am trying to make up for it now though and spreading as much rep as I can.

Nice idea on the personal rep review. I finally worked out how to rep using Android recently, long press on rep button and open in new tab. It had been driving me crazy for years that I couldn't rep on the phone (where I almost always read the forum).

It's not just the regulars who come to the forum, if a new player or potential buyer hears about a module they might like to buy, they may come to the forums to see what everyone is saying about it. If all they see is negativity and complaints a sale may be lost, I don't blame the devs for wanting to limit that possibility.

It was explained in the video that that is how the real F-14 HUD works.
