  1. It still isn't possible to play as the gunner in someone elses Huey, right?
  2. Still looking. Anyone wanting to sell?
  3. Can't the effect can be reduced without completely loosing it?
  4. Strange... Can you upload a track?
  5. There's a server which runs a mission called HueyDrop. Its a simple yet very fun game where you have to pickup a squad of soldiers from a FOB and deploy them on an active battlefield with insurgents shooting at you with AKs and Strelas. I always have a blast on that server and its also very good to practice landings.
  6. Worst case scenario you could always turn labels on. DCS is notoriously difficult when it comes to spot other aircraft. I did not try that mission yet but if its dark enough, maybe you'd have more luck with NVGs on?
  7. It still boggles my mind that someone could attempt such a colossal project on his own. I wish you all the luck in the world, Fragger
  8. It definitely wasn't easy at first but having some previous experience with the Black Shark did help. You need a minimum of 10 hours to really get use to the Huey. I would suggest you give it a little more time before you completely give up. It most likely won't be any easier once the full version is out.
  9. ^ True, removed my posts about that. Got another one while I'm here: Yesterday I went for a target practice flight, this time with M261 pods only (no machine guns) and noticed the center of gravity was much better. Is it possible for the UH-1H to carry the machine guns next to the rocket pods like the older versions in order to keep that center of gravity? EDIT: Like this UH-1C for example
  10. Personally I'd rather have 1 big update instead of several small ones.
  11. I think the current reticle is just a place holder until we get the full version with the XM60 sight but I could be wrong.
  12. Thanks marker. I appreciate the effort
  13. I thought since the Warthog and Mustang has a thread like this, why not for the Huey? Ask here if you don't want to start a new topic for a simple question. I'll start: Where can I find a list of ADF frequencies?
  14. Its definitely something wrong with your joystick's calibration. I started the track and took control before it even started and I had no problem.
  15. Sounds good. Can't wait to see your work!
  16. Don't forget its still a Beta. Full version will (should) have active AI gunners.
  17. All I can say about this chopper is its super tough. Got peppered by some BMPs and nothing vital was ever damaged. This thing can take a beating.
  18. That's what I thought. And I think it looks pretty good, too. I would be very grateful if you could make it.
  19. I would love to have a Canadian CH-118 skin. Doesn't look too difficult to make either. ... If anyone has free time on their hands
  20. Lock the twist axis on your joystick (if you have one) it should help you remember to use the pedals. I had the same problem at first but doesn't take long to get use to pedals.
  21. Only way I know of is reduce fuel load and remove weapons.
  22. Its full of tutorials on how to use JTAC on Youtube Heres an example
  23. Thanks! Might be useful some day.
  24. I'm looking for something like this as well. Would be very helpful.
  25. Finally got to watch Air America... Now i get where that Huey skin in DCS comes from lol
