  1. I sense a lot of hostility in your posts, Wokka. Just 'cause you're a pilot doesn't give you the right to talk down at everyone like that.
  2. Maybe the main rotor striking the boom? Hard to tell...
  3. I don't think I will buy it but I would definitely like to see some gameplay videos.
  4. What like a Xbox controller? :megalol:
  5. Problem is, no one wants to wait around for the SAR chopper to arrive. They just want to hop back in the cockpit ASAP and keep on flying.
  6. Great timing. A friend of mine just got into flight sims and is learning to fly the Toad. I gave him the link to this thread.
  7. Those are awesome, upuaut. Are they available to download?
  8. Wait... What is that thing you landed on?!
  9. I see much improvement, nicely done. The only potentially fatal error i see is you're letting the VVI drop way to low. You should not let it drop beyond -.5 (first mark on the gauge.)
  10. A few rounds here and there I could definitely understand. A whole burst of 10 - 15+ rounds in a row while I'm moving? I seriously doubt it.
  11. Is it just me or is the AI infantry WAY too accurate with their fire? It seems the moment I enter their range, I'm constantly getting nailed by rounds. AK47s aren't the most accurate or stable weapons out there...
  12. Good idea. Besides, Ivan don't surf!
  13. Not to sound cocky or anything but... Its not really THAT difficult.
  14. I think (I could very well be wrong) off powers down the weapon system, safe powers it on and armed obviously arms it.
  15. I think IRL there is 3 positions, off, safe and armed. I'll give it a try in-game. EDIT: Works fine for me. Are you right clicking to go from off to safe? Left clicking puts it directly in armed.
  16. Are those laser guided Mavs beam riders?
  17. Strange, I can't fly with a narrow FOV. I never know if I'm moving in narrow FOV so I fly with something in the aerea of 120 degrees.
  18. When you slow down (at approximately 25 knots) you will come out of ETL (Effective Translational Lift) and loose a lot of lift from the rotors so you need to pull on the collective as you are coming out (you will notice as it starts shaking.) Once out of ETL, keep an eye on the VVI (the gauge under the altimeter) and keep it above -500 feet per minute (or .5 on the gauge.) Then you just need to keep practicing until you start getting the hang of it. Smooth inputs are also very helpful.
  19. I don't know for TrackIR 5 (I have 4) but on mine, when in-game there is 1 green light and one blue light. Did you try relocating the device on top of your screen? Do you see all the lights or reflectors of your clip in the camera view of the software? Are they relatively in the center of the camera?
  20. Do you have a green light on the TrackIR when in-game?
  21. Don't work at all or don't work with TrackIR? I ran the cold start, take off and shooting range instant missions today without any problems.
  22. What is on frequency 127.5? You have to set the frequency for the airfield you want to contact (for example: 137.000 for Mozdok.) There is a list of ATC frequencies at the end of the manual.
  23. You might also find the controls indicator useful in this situation (RCtrl+Enter)
  24. I can't believe i missed that earlier haha. Nice!
  25. I can just imagine how detailed the manual will be. Awesome
