  1. Do you have pictures of analogue and digital weapon system displays? I'm curious to see the difference.
  2. How about a heavy bomber such as the Flying Fortress? Just imagine B-17s escorted by Mustangs while FW-190s try to intercept. EDIT: Sniped by Jean
  3. If there were such a bar in the Huey, I believe it would be called a blender :megalol:
  4. I would advise against using deadzones. You should use curves if absolutely necessary.
  5. Looking good!
  6. Make sure your cyclic is neutral and the collective is all the way down before starting it.
  7. I can't speak for everyone but personally, I don't see this as a deal braker. To me, the flight characteristics seems like the more exciting aspect of this chopper. I would still back your project 100% even without any weapon systems.
  8. I think what Peter is trying to demonstrate is that the game is not "broken" like some users say. The Huey is simply not a easy aircraft to fly and requires a lot of practice. Reading several threads a week complaining about the FM and how its broken is also tiring.
  9. Did you try adding curves to your cyclic controls? Something that might help you is to add a curve to the collective as well. Check the slider option for the collective and add around -10 of curvature so it is less sensitive towards the bottom. It helps for landings and take offs.
  10. That thing looks like a nightmare to fiddle on
  11. The flight model needs some tweaking but nothing radical. After 100 attempts you should be able to land. Most people can land it just fine the way it is so I doubt its a problem with the game.
  12. Then it must be something wrong with your setup or technique. Did you watch the tutorials?
  13. How much landings did you try? I know it took me a few days and over 50 tries to start landing somewhat decently and I still screw up from time to time. Start the free flight instant mission and just take off and land until you can't stand it anymore. I grantee the next day your landings will be much better.
  14. The communication radios or navigation radios?
  15. Totally agree. I can understand back when it came out but now it doesn't seem like its worth keeping anymore.
  16. I understand. I guess simply grew accustomed to it. Thanks for the reply!
  17. Quick question Peter: In the first post, you say to uncheck the central position trimmer mode for this mod to work but it seems to work fine with it still checked. Has this changed since? What was suppose to happen if left checked?
  18. Actually, I just got Saitek Pro Flight Rudders. Got them for $125 CND shipped to my door. Mods: please delete this thread.
  19. Finally gave in...
  20. Yes. Only the AI can control them, though.
  21. No worries, just wondering. I hope that answered your questions.
  22. 1: Either one will do. You really only need the serial key for the module. 2: The modules don't actually come with any extra ME units, those come with DCS World which is free. 3:I'm not sure how much they go off but I doubt it would ever go 75% off. Maybe 50% at most. 4: I don't think the ME limits the number of units in a mission but your PC hardware might. 5: Yes, there are a lot of active servers. P.S. why did you write this with big bold letters?
  23. I think the force feedback function of the FFB2 is what makes it so good for the Huey. When you trim it in place, it will stay there just like the real deal.
  24. How much landing attempts have you tried before giving up, W1ndy? It took me a good 50 tries before I could even start to land in a somewhat proper way and I still screw up from time to time. Its not the kind of aircraft you learn in a day, you need to keep at it!
