Yeah i used Bob and Carol for my warthog and Trackir 5 because they were just down the road. Really helpful and Bob builds simulators for the air cadets and stuff so he knows what he is talking about

RCSimulations are based in yate near Bristol.

It will be years until we would be able to run 8k vr due to the hardware not being there let alone DCS being optimized for it so no point worrying about that yet. Buy a CV1 and enjoy VR now.

do you mean Dirt rally stutters every 2-3 seconds or so? Even the menu screen? If so there is a fix for that as i had to do it. I think i had to delete the config file or replay file or something and that fixed it.

there are a few missions they run with awacs in rotation

turn your mirrors off...makes a huge difference

I personally think the 104th have got it right. There is a happy medium and the 104th are right on the money. You can jump on the server for a quick sortie or two or spend hours on there and not get bored. They are no overly strict and there are only a couple of simple rules to follow. And if you want to play something a little more hardcore then you can jump on Blueflag or open conflict. Or if you are like me i like to sometimes spend a few hours just doing touch and goes in various aircraft i will jump onto the VA server. There are plenty of servers out there but i seemed to spend most of my time on 104th so they must be doing something right.

I have been gaming for years. Now I got a oculus rift I will not play a game that does not support VR. Nuff said

Once you go Rift you wont use your monitor lol.. Trouble is now i got a lot of games that i simply refuse to play as they are not rift compatible. But please make sure your PC meets the requirements before you purchase the rift. I see so many people complaining just because there PC is not powerful enough. :thumbup:
