  2. DCS Multiplayer Server Down? Me and a few others are getting, "Can't connect to master".
  3. If you are reinstalling the OS: Hey Gerd! Just bought my first SSD and just built it into Windows 8 from scratch. Wanted to build from ground up. All I did in DCS was go to Module Manager and copy the serial numbers then deactivate my 2 modules. Once I reinstalled DCS on the new windows drive, all I needed to do was reinstall the software on those modules and it asked for the serial key on first launch of the software. I pasted the numbers in with no issues.
  4. I don't think folks that visit our server would like that solution Vedexent. Being shut out would not encourage repeat visitors at all. Everytime I've seen a crash there has been at least 10 players on. DCS World should be able to handle that with ease and it did on versions before about 1.2.4. Bottom line is ED needs to get multiplayer working better across the board. Whatever the problem is, it is more noticeable with more players.

  6. Yeah I agree with Eno.... On the VA server we set the mission (not DCS.exe) to restart every 2 and a half hours and most of the time DCS.exe crashes before that time is hit.
  7. I've found in multiplayer mode that DCS.exe tends to exhibit memory leak behavior. I too had 6 gig ram and the game would crash occasionally when jumping into an aircraft. I started watching memory usage in resource monitor and sure enough, DCS.exe would take all available ram. I upgraded from 6 gig to 10 gig and my problems went away. In single player mode this never happened.
  8. Sithspawn, here's a total shot in the dark but I've been following this thread: TrackIR change in 1.2.6 There are some edits that Kuky made to the autoexec.cfg file that could be possibly used in troubleshooting multiplayer. Like I said, extreme guess but something to look at.
  9. Still regular crashes here so I guess part of it is giving up. I would say we're still getting at least one or two a day outside our scheduled mission restarts every 2.5 hours.

  15. Right 159th_Falcon..... We used to use that for any weapons fire on our server so we've been missing that ability.
  16. I think sometime in 1.2.5 or 1.2.6 that ED removed that ability. Not sure exactly when it was removed though. I think I used to access this mission screen in game through Shift + ". It was called the Mission Debrief window.
  17. Unfortunately on the VA server, we're still seeing the same frequency of mission crahes on Update 2.

  19. nickexists, if you're in the U.S., the Dell Outlet would be a good place to start for a PC, http://www.dell.com/learn/us/en/22/campaigns/outlet. These are refurb, & dent/scratch PCs that are offered at steep discounts to full price machines with all the same warranties of new. I actually go into Outlet Business on that site and browse engineering workstations. Outlet Home will take you to standard & gaming PCs.

  21. Hi doebro2010. If you're looking for learning to fly with others try the VA server. It's non-combat and we have people of all skill levels on from both European and U.S. time zones.
  22. Yes, I installed LOMAC on my Win 8 with no issues. 64 bit system.
  23. For what its worth, we run a modified version of Servman but we still get crashes when Servman is off. We also see crashes when running on Slmod. A couple other points: - Rebuilding the mission in update 1 did not slow crashes. - Disabling ATC Comms does not seem to slow them either.
  24. Our mission crash frequency hasn't really improved since the latest update either for the VA server.
