  1. I found the thread I was looking for Hypersonik: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1764526&postcount=6 Here's the line: Su-33. Auto-thrust will now only engage after route/return/landing autopilot mode is engaged. Auto-thrust for the other aircraft was not realistic and thus removed.
  2. It was intentionally disabled by ED. See some of Wags previous posts for more info.
  3. Agreed. I counter stick when the HUD ladder hits +5 pitch. That usually keeps me from tail damage....
  4. Awesome, and bar charts even.... Looks like this thread is in line with that former poll.
  5. How about metal monkey bars on pavement on the grade school playground? Rubber chips?? pffftttt.
  6. I averaged out the responses so far on this thread and come up with 37.42.....
  7. 47 next month..... And yes I went through my bouts of Timex Sinclair, C64, Amiga 500 and flight sims before I bought my first PC. Loved F/A-18 Interceptor and F16 Combat Pilot on the Amiga when they were first released.
  8. I posted this update from Wags on another F15C Landing Gear thread: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1805388&postcount=54 Since I almost exclusively fly the F15C, I've learned to nail about 90% of my landings without getting the glitch. I try to hit the ground around 150 knots and keep the nose pointed between 0 and 5 degrees inclination in the HUD.
  9. Quoted from Wags update post: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=108764 Next Stop... DCS Version 1.2.5 After the release of DCS version 1.2.4, we released multiple updates using our automatic updater. We are now moving towards the next major update, version 1.2.5. Our primary focus will be on improving game performance, addressing game play issues, and setting the stage for further modules. Key features planned for version 1.2.5 include: Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 3 Remaining issues for some FC3 aircraft like CCRP, EOS, and F-15C landing issue will be addressed. Right now our staff is quite overloaded with other, higher priority items.

  11. Very nice! Thanks for sharing!
  12. Awesome..... Just saw them on their last tour when they hit St. Louis. The newer singer is pretty good on the old songs.
  13. Big AIC fan here.... That was awesome....
  14. Awesome man! McAfee's a rockstar. :D
  15. You can play on any server, once you're on a server you usually get a list of planes to choose from. From what I recall I think you just don't get a cockpit if you choose a plane you don't own.
  16. The Amazon link looks like what you need. I did the same thing a couple of years ago and bought from Amazon U.S. Once you install the CD, you should be able to purchase and download FC3.
  17. Plus that screen in options you do have allows you to change the DCS resolution lower as something to try.....
  18. Saw this today.......... http://virtual-aerobatics.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=282#p1241 :)
  19. Hey Tzeer. Nice to hear from you. Liked your graphics testing thread. One test I thought about trying not sure if it's been done...... I would take my old 460 card and force it in NVIDIA settings to be PHYSX only. I saw a few threads in here talking about PHYSX in the past and it sounds like no benefit really in DCS. I wonder if forcing that card to PHYSX only would free up the new 670 card more. I could monitor FPS on the 670 to see if it improves anything before to after. Thoughts?
  20. I see it's up now.... Looks like for just a minute or two. Go ahead and try again.
  21. Agreed Pacotito. I've used Classic Shell since I got Win 8 about 7 months ago.
  22. HugePanic, I just upgraded my GTX 460 to a GTX 670. This was a big improvement for me. Both of these cards were 256-bit memory bus. They run a lot faster than the 128-bit memory bus versions but also cost a lot more... Both of mine were the EVGA versions of the card. There's several vendors that sell these NIVIDIA cards. My old card: Part Number: 02G-P3-1386-KR Part Desc: EVGA GeForce GTX 460 Purchased in May 2011. My new card: Part Number: 02G-P4-2678-KR Part Desc: EVGA GeForce GTX 670 FTW Purchased in May 2013. http://www.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=02G-P4-2678-KR
  23. Agreed Chippy, seems like Dell spent half the time blacked out.... but it got him that great time.... Congrats Dell!
  24. Finally a place to donate my money...... :megalol:
