  1. I liked autothrust a lot in the F15C. It came in handy on fueling with tankers and flying lead on formations. Since it's been gone, I have gotten much better on throttle management as others have suggested... The change kind of forced that on me....... ;)
  2. Yeah, I've had a hard time finding documentation too but here's where to see the full list of controls in the game: Options-->Controls-->Layer-F15C-->Category-Autopilot I mostly use the J & H as mentioned. Another one I use if I still have some funky controls trying to take over is LAlt + 9 (Autopilot Disengage).
  3. Ebs.... You know I love the mod. I would be very grateful for an update. I've been missing having my flight hours updated. :D
  4. Been fun flying with you so far too Ray!
  5. Hreich, this is the old post, the more current one is here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=102188
  6. If you're looking for a place to fly with other pilots and not worry about getting shot down, try Virtual Aerobatics: http://virtual-aerobatics.com/forum/index.php It's where I fly most of the time and the guys over there are fairly nice to get along with. They also have a TeamSpeak server that comes in real handy if you want to learn to fly formations.
  7. Loose nut at the controls?? :D
  8. I'm sure Ebs will figure it out. Give him a little time.
  9. Welcome Foo_Fighter! I definitely remember the C-64 and Amiga days too! Fun times those were.... 10. She poops at parties.... ^^^^^^ :megalol:
  11. Yep... You just have to keep a super nose-up attitude when landing to avoid it. I would hope it's fixed in the next patch or so.
  12. Wow! A Stargate! Awesome!
  13. Yeah, what cichlidfan said... I've just used the default profile. It works fine and I haven't had to tweak any TIR settings.
  14. Yes, I agree that's why the pro clip is better, it's powered. It doesn't cost that much more than the base TrackIR so it's a good investment.
  15. I use flaps on during the whole landing. The way that works for me is to use airbrakes down to 150 speed in the HUD. I turn off airbrakes before the wheels touch ground. I keep the nose up as high as possible and when the back wheels touch, I keep holding the nose up for a while. If I do not keep the nose high enough, the wheels sink of course.
  16. TIR very plug & play too... I was able to get rolling on the default template. I found myself looking one way while flying the plane in another direction, almost had a crash or two....
  17. That's what I've noticed... usually a bright orange color when I've seen it.
  18. - Just read about that one today.... I'm curious how the technology will evolve with flight simulators. - I'm waiting for my TrackIR5 as well. Should arrive at the house tomorrow. I'm really excited too!
  19. Welcome aboard! How do you like that Fighterstick? I've been thinking about that one.
  20. Now I land so nose-up I occasionally drag my tail feathers for damage but at least it's landing with gear intact. :megalol:
  21. No problem. Glad I could help. F-15 is what I fly 99% of the time. I like it fast..... :) P.S. - FC3 also includes an A10.
  22. Hi Klem, I came on in a similar situation as you.... I have Lock-On Gold. Here's the best I can answer. 1) That is correct. Same order I did. 2) & 3) I didn't try to retrieve any content from the old game. I would think that you could pull up .MIZ files without issue in DCS. 4) No. When you install FC3, the installer should detect DCS and install it in that folder. 5) No. You can actually download and install FC3 before purchase but you will need to have a license key to play it. 5) Yes. FC3 will be integrated into DCS, you'll notice right away once you've entered the key. 6) No, disc not necessary, just the install you already have for LOG. 7) I still have LOG installed, it may be possible to uninstall but I don't want to chance corruption. 8. No issue here. You launch DCS, FC3 is integrated. 9) Keep in mind, FC3 works as a plugin/module so-to-speak for DCS. There's no need to ever run FC3 as a separate thing. Before you purchase, make sure you have a user account created on digitalcombatsimulator.com. It's a separate login from this forum. That login is also used when you play DCS Multiplayer. When your purchase is complete, your key should be saved in your user profile. Any more questions, please let us know.
  23. Glad we could help LC..... Figured it would be some easy setting. I'm glad you're flying good now!
  24. They're in one of the image folders of your DCS Installation. I think they were .PNG files if I recall. I just created a new image from the two separate ones. Speaking of that, I need to update my sig at some point for the P-51 module I just picked up last week.
