Interesting, that could explain why we still haven't seen it public. Probably due to issues with how groups are handled in DCS -
I hope the next couple of rounds are during the week. Regarding Quigon's comment ... It is a lot easier if you ask, instead of having to guess or waiting on already overloaded people to update every 5 minutes what's the situation. Haven't played the last two iteration, but I would say that there is no need to further balance or change the scenario to compensate for the lack of skill in people or the lack of people in general. Keep it is as realistic as possible. I don't mind having different groups bring their own GCI, would actually be better if you ask me... Only condition being that those people GCIing are available to talk to, as to have coordination. All the pilots can do their own comms, from the different groups.

I've reported this in the form of infantry couple of updates ago. The AI get stuck in a loop trying to avoid each other, by doing exactly the same avoidance maneuver. This can pretty much ruin the AI, if its a vehicle which you cannot take direct control of or infantry disembarking from units. If needed, I can provide a track

F-16s have been added to the buy lists. The team that has access to them can purchase them. If you are interested in the project, cime check out the discord. Now, with the latest updates, they are a somewhat sensible purchase, but when the documentation was created, they were lacking a lot of features and not worth it. -
Yeah, as it has been mentioned, the mission you are playing on will have to have the option, which enables controlling units while in an aicraft, enabled. You won't find this on most MP servers, so you will moat probably experience mainly in SP and your own missions

As far as I understand your question, if you can view the F10 map in VR, you should be able to do what you want. The "not supported in VR" tag is for direct control of units, using them in first and third person, but the tactical map, should be fine

Hostile units still present on ABRIS with HIDE on MFD option

Seems like it effects some units and not others. Don't think units should be displayed on ABRIS/SA pages to begin with. Makes more sense to have units not shown by default and have a chceckbox which does make them visible, instead of using 3rd party software to do so. -
AI aircraft spot every units with pin point precision on the map, from extreme ranges. If there is a radar, it will show its location from 100+nm away. It might have less spotting range on ground units, but once it sees them, they will stay on the map until the jet is 60nm away from them (with its back towards them), lands or is killed/has died. This is a huge problem playing realistic scenarios/campaigns, especially in PvP, where every one is moving their units and all of a sudden a transiting AI aircraft, which just has to go from point A to B, no weapons, 70nm away spots all the hostile tanks and SAMs on the map and it keeps them lit for a long period of time. Hey, seems like sometimes hostile units are still shown on the ABRIS, even if the option to hide them on the planner and MFD have been checked. I had to static template import these units into the mission, but they still have their checks. Not all of them show either, but definitely enough give away positions. This is extremely bad when playing realistic scenarios/campaigns, especially in PvP. Ka-50 ABRIS shows HIDE on MFD units.trk

The horizontal platform issue makes no sense to me... I mean obviously there are limits, but there is a reason why the bed of the truck has these booster legs, so it can put its self level. As I said, obviously there is a limit to what they can do, but right now there is no way you can actually compensate for the terrain elevation error, except firing multiple missiles from the same spot and compensating by eyeballing the error on the map -
Well, if there is more to it than just RCS I don't know, but missiles do have a "reflection" value, where as weapons classified as bombs in DCS do not

Is there a way to overlay a terrain image over the TacView map ? I am trying to use TacView to confirm, for example, that a bridge strike has been successful and it has actually hit the targeted bridge. See rivers and other objects ? -

The SCUD doesn't compensate for elevation. So, if you are not complete flat when firing, which is basically always, there is going to be a big error in the shot. Error is going to be consistent no matter where you aim at, as long as you don't move your SCUD -

It happens every update. Warehouse gets screwed and you get these empty slots. As Flappie suggested you have to null you warehouses and populate them again. If you are not running your missions constantly, I would recommend only doing the warehouses prior to playing them, so you don't have to do it over, if a patch drops in the mean time

Right now weapons which are classes as bombs, don't have RCS values at all, that is why they cannot be engaged. I've heard that there are plans to make bombs trackable as well, but when that will happen is .... There more pressing issues with some of the Chinese weapons and their RCS values, as some like the LD-10 cannot be tracked by any SAM.

You are missing the point.... this is an exaggerated setup, so an issue can be shown. If it was in normal circumstances, then we will get no where as I've already done such reports and the answer is.... your track is too long, so meh... This does happen in normal conditions too, it just takes time. It might happen an hour in or two hours into a mission. Easiest way to record the issue is to force it. No it is not related to numbers either, this can happen with 50 units or 500 units... all the same, the chances of it happening are just less. All my tests ran fine and were playable. They ran even better on my own PC in SP. Don't know what issues you had, but it was running fine on a 3570K with a 1070 non Ti

I played both server and client track over and I did not get a crash. As I noted in my original post, can't seem to get a crash in SP. Don't know what magic developers gotta do, but I think tracks and logs can be correlated so the issue can be found. This really sucks, especially when you are creating and playing in-depth missions, which require people to carefully plan and move units, just to have the game crash minutes. It has to be unit related, as I've seen many other servers, with hundreds of units and multiple scripts running (I don't run scripts) have vehicles fight, but not crash
