  1. What changed ?
  2. Day 3 of the campaign saw another early start, initiated by BLUEFOR. At 0630L time, ground fighting began. A lot of blood was spilled on the border between Georgia and Abkhazia. Both sides suffered a significant amount of losses, although BLUEFOR was able to continue their push inland. Although BLUEFOR was enjoying solid progress on the ground, the same cannot be said for their air assets. REDFOR was able to surround 2x F/A-18 Hornets and sandwich them. It was down hill from there, as REDFOR Flankers and Fulcrums were able to score another 3 air kills. REDFOR did suffer one loss. While BLUEFOR did achieve the overall ground victory for the session, REDFOR was able to, again, sneak in a couple of units, behind enemy lines. While the backragers were being picked one by one, a solo BMP-3 was able to fight its way through, discover and destroy crucial Patriot SAM battery units. Day 4 promises an interesting session. Both coalitions have to carefully plan and pick their moves, as the outcome of the campaign is at question. Round 4 is planned for the 28th of November.
  3. If you have external views disabled and F10 set to map only, the Observer slot has no access to external views. This was not the case in the past. Only way to do that now is to have a Game Master slot, in which you might mess up some units path if you missclick. Can we also have neutral Game Master/Observer slots available in Multiplayer
  4. Yep, as I thought. It is supposed to give access to all views. Currently in a mission with Map only F10 setting and No external views allowed, you only have access to them, trough the Game Master slot and not the Observer slot. (Image from the DCS 2020 User Manual)
  5. Didn't the observer slot use to be able to view external views in the past ? Now you can see both sides, but you cannot watch in external views. If this is not a bug, can it be changed to be that way ? Can neutral coalition Game Master and Observer slots be made available in multiplayer ?

  8. Alpen, have you implemented some of the changes we spoke about in the past, in regards to Fight Island ? Either increasing the number of T-72s, or another option is replacing them with something like a T-80. T-80 has the same shitty armor, but better sights and mobility. It can actually match the speed of the M1A2, which would eliminate the problem of BLUE always getting to Queshem first (well, at least in regards to their MBT. HUMWEs are going to yeet at around 160km/h still)
  9. Ship air defenses are quite broken and most of the time not working as intended or at all. I have couple of threads reporting the issue, but no response.

  12. Retaining their momentum from Day 1, BLUEFOR had the initiative and decided to continue their advance in the cover of darkness. This meant that the session started at around 1AM. Although the night handicapped REDFOR to a certain extent, it also slowed down BLUE's push. REDFOR was able to sneak at least one vehicle behind enemy lines, without BLUE realizing. In the fog of war, RED scout vehicles, were able to pass by BLUE vehicles undetected, gambling on VID confusion from BLUE, as both teams operate russian tech. REDFOR struck another small victory, by shooting down an F-16. Unfortunately for RED, it was not without losses on their side. Ground fire was able to destroy two Ka-50s.... one of which was landed, while the pilot got out to take care of his bodily needs. BLUEFOR keeps their initiative going by gaining more ground. Day 3 of the campaign is scheduled to be played on the 7th of November.
  13. Half their missiles and cannon defenses don't work fully at all either....
  14. So, it seems like none of the russian tanks has night vision. They do have Thermal. At night, when fighting something like an Abrams, they will detect it for couple of seconds (shows on map as well), start aiming, but the contact will drop, without moving (in a open, flat field). A second or two later, contact will reappear, tanks will start aiming again (seems like they pop up when they fire), but to no avail.... This goes into an endless circle, until the Abrams destroys them. Same issue with the BMP-3, although it has both thermal and night vision. I would understand, if they have initial trouble spotting them, but once they have established contact, especially against a non maneuvering target in the open... they should retain that contact.   15. By the way, not all variants of the AIM-7 can do HOJ. Wasn't it just the MH variant ?
  16. Although there are ways to create short turn solutions.... the whole client slot system has to be retired. There are better systems which can really bring DCS to standard. That requires time, but the even bigger problem is that a lot of times ED is stubborn to even implement simple fixes.... so you can imagine when we can expect a new system

  19. I've posted your question on the Low Level Hell discord, but I would assume, that as long as you are under the ping limit on the server (if there even is one) and you are not dropp8ng packets (i.e jumping around), you should be fine. Just join, see if everything works fine.... and yeah..
  20. This post was made, when there were no such issues. The desync was only in projectile location, which at end is not a big deal, you either get hit or not. Just a visual bug.
  21. Wait, you watched my track and on your side it worked fine ?
  22. There is some kind of an inconsistent issues with the AGM-154A missing. Did a bunch of tests and initially it seemed that if you had FUZE on Inst, it would not work. If you put it on OFF, it will work. But today when I tested it, neither worked. Only time it worked with both OFF and INST is when I had 2 loaded, 1 per wing, on the inboard stations.   23. Took me 4 minutes to create and post this track, with most of the time going towards DCS booting up and loading. Uncontrolled Ju-88 shoots back .trk
