  1. The F18 is as easy or maybe easier than the F5 to start. I find it hard to believe anyone even needs an easy checklist. lol
  2. It's in the NATOPS. Shows exact position for different formation types.
  3. Adjust, as in program? If that's what you mean, you don't need the master arm on.
  4. You guys using a gamepad too?
  5. A bit demanding...you could’ve found this on YouTube or TS faster than it took to demand it here. lol

I hope we stick to realistic. People that are color blind can't fly IRL, should be no different in DCS. lol That was a joke btw
  7. Been reported numerous times already in the bugs section, you're in wish list.
  8. Ah, gotcha
  9. That's what you'll do in the end, if you understand what bracketing is, but if you're watching fuel flow, i mean...
  10. I think people expect a jet engine to be instant, but its not. You have to plan ahead and while it's possible that it's a little slow, it's not off by what I'd consider a lot. I think people need to learn how to "bracket" the thrust levers to find a sweet spot to maintain speed while refueling.
  11. You guys saying you use AP to refuel, you're just making it more difficult. The refueler doesn't stay at a perfect alt, and when it turns in it's racetrack, it most definitely doesn't maintain alt. You should be able to hand fly your AAR, even in a turn. You're just hurting yourself by not working on the skills needed to handfly the plane. I know it gets frustrating, but...
  12. Off the top of my head so someone else may want to chime in. My thoughts are that it's still early access. That being said, things aren't exactly the way they should be, so for now, you could put the gear down and hold off on the flaps until you get to a lower speed. I do believe the pitching has been brought up and is being addressed. Just throwing that out there.
  13. Just click on the course switch under the UFC on the right. It will show up on the HSI as you begin to make it turn.
  14. After you click on/off you need to click clear then put in the tacan freq. I’m a bit surprised everyone else missed this.
  15. You don’t need to watch N1 or other engine gauges. Airspeed and aoa is where your eyes are. No need to complicate things.
  16. Early...Access
  17. I can't say that I've ever experienced or heard anything bad about the tutorials not working. It's probably the best place to start, before reading and asking questions. Probably more than half the questions I've seen in here were answered in the very first tutorial on the f18.
  18. It's not even noticeably at 18k. Maybe after 30 min or so you may get a headache or something, but that's about it. Technically speaking, you're required to wear oxygen at all times flying above 14,500 cabin alt, but...
  19. You can tell who didn't do the tutorials. lol :P
  20. People, as in a handful? I haven't noticed any problem seeing through the HUD in any conditions nor has anyone I've flown with.
  21. Even at 18k cabin alt, it's not a big deal. I've done it more than once weather flying a skydive aircraft or skydiving in general. You probably wouldn't want to be up there for 30 min or so, but you aren't going to pass out either.
  22. You need air to start an engine if the APU is inop, that's what the ASU is for. After an engine is started it uses it's bleeds to start the other engine. GPU is just ground electric.
  23. I don't know why people bother with calling ATC to start an engine. It's such a rare things that any airfield requires it, I"m not sure why it's even in the menu.
  24. Fumbling around to find your mouse?
  25. No, it defaults to 12, at least for now. You need to put the rest of the NU trim in yourself.
