  1. I think there’s something going on with the carrier. Myself and the guys I fly with can’t really taxi around in the deck. We just slide, can’t really turn.
  2. Stab trim on the fcs page but you can also see it on the checklist page.
  3. I hope limitations are implemented in somewhere, maybe damage the aircraft/gear. What you're seeing here are the call off duty and battlefield gamers complaining about said limitations. I'm not sure why some are even in a sim like DCS if they want something closer to flying a plane in Battlefield.
  4. 3, 5 and 7 clicks depending on the intensity you want.
  5. Watch/do the training videos included with the Hornet and all your questions will be answered...
  6. I assumed he was talking about actual interaction with the basket, not being able to fly through it with the probe/aircraft, among those other things. That and the basket is perfectly still as if it's on a steel beam are two that come to mind.
  7. I appreciate you taking the time to reply to me. I too am waiting to hear how the new Pimax 8k performs when it comes out. A couple of the guys I fly with will have it. I'd love to move to VR, the thought of it seems great. I'm just cautious with spending that much money until I'm sure it's where I personally would want it to be visually.
  8. I didn't say anyone has lied, but I have seen people say it's hard to see, mainly instruments and targets. I've also read where people think it's amazing and they can see just fine but, it's pretty subjective. For all I know people are ok with low res/blurry without leaning in and it's not worth $400-600 to me to try out without being sure. That's why personally, I will wait until they are closer to the clarity of a monitor. TBH, everyone I've flow with, except for one, has said they couldn't see well, but it felt cool. The one person that could see everything had used several third party programs and tweeks just to see the instruments.
  9. This and if you're any kind of pilot, you'll see on your gauges with a glance if you're in burner or not.
  10. I could only wish
  11. That's almost always at uncontrolled fields so it wouldn't really apply here and the freq is the UNICOM freq.
  12. This is what I'm doing. Although I sometimes hear people saying they can see, I don't really trust it knowing that the resolution is so bad compared to a monitor. I hope I'm wrong. I'd love to do VR but I'd rather not spend $600 or more to find out I can't see my instruments and/or targets.
  13. Now, again using your eyes, tell us the takeoff weight...lol I hope I got my point across.
  14. When you spawn ready to take off the TO trim is set to 16. If you land and set yourself up to takeoff again, the TO Trim button will only set your pitch trim to 12. You have to set it to 16, or whatever weight you are, yourself. That's the current state of things.
  15. You can already click once and hold and they will move.
  16. I’m going with you aren’t announcing your position like you’re flying a C172 in the pattern at your favorite uncontrolled airfield.
  17. This right here. AAR is stupid easy. A more realistic basket would be nice. There are already ways to dumb things down for those that don't take the time to practice or just can't do it.
  18. Not a big deal, you've already figured it out...
  19. I've yet to fly a twin engine jet or prop where each engine performed exactly the same as the other, IRL. One throttle or thrust lever is more forward than the other at all times. I noticed that in the hornet, the engines are modeled this way as well. Disconnect your thrustmaster thrust levers and use them individually the way you should.
  20. Wat?
  21. Active Pause
  22. Yes but it isn't TDC as has been stated quite a few times. It's throttle designator up, down, left, right. You don't need to use TARGET, it's awful anyway.
  23. I’m assuming the Easter egg wish is a joke since I think most of us wouldn’t want to hear Easter egg mentioned on anything other than an Xbox game.
  24. Because you have your flaps out and you're probably leaving the power on. Climb out at your "on speed" speed.
  25. I’m hoping sometime soon that all of the simplified aircraft are just gone
